I love Times Square Bagels! It’s one of the best places to get a delicious and quick bite to eat before work or during your lunch break. The staff is very dedicated to their work and super friendly. The Lox Bagel is sooooo good, as well as the chicken bacon ranch bagel! Please give this restaurant a try; you won’t be disappointed!

This little shop in WNC has the best bagels that I have had in very long time. I have never had one of their sandwiches in the shop. When I’m in town, I stop in and I buy a few bagels. I take them home, toast them in my own toaster oven, and use my own cream cheese. From my experience, they are great.

I don’t know why I have not been in here before! Really great bagels. I ordered the bagels and lox and it came loaded! Haven’t had one like NYC in so many years and they hit it just right!
I love the space and the downstairs with the sofas and the TV is a super nice touch.
Service with a smile, and I got my coffee quickly and my toasted bagel in a timely manner.

Very friendly people and pretty fast. But a couple big caveats. The interior needs something to make it seem more homey/welcoming. It’s extremely sterile but I don’t think that’s what they’re going for. Maybe bigger tables? It just feels temporary. Now the food…. I gave it 2 stars because of the value. The breakfast options are decent and fairly large but I spent more on my last bagel with lox than I did the last time I was in Manhattan. To me it’s just inexcusable that a bagel joint in WNC that doesn’t bake their own bagels costs more than a true NYC bagel shop 3 blocks from Grand Central Station. If the food was priced according to the fact they’re not baking in-house and not paying Manhattan rent and wages then the food would be 4 stars. I know a business has to make a profit but the math just doesn’t work for where they are. I’ll go back because it’s hard to find a bagel with lox when you’re out and about but I’ll always flinch with the check.

I stop in here regularly for coffee and my friend gets their bagels. I stopped in with my mom who was visiting from out of town. It was sooooo good. We found out they have croissants as well and we loved loved loved the food. The service was great as well.

We stopped in for a quick breakfast after deciding last minute to walk the shops on main street. It feels kind of musty in there with a weird smell. Honestly I think it could be whatever paint or spray paint they used for the art but it’s definitely off putting for a food spot. I was really disappointed with my coffee and bagel. The bagel was cold and super soggy despite being toasted and the specialty cream cheese was really gross wet and room temp. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich and he said he liked his but agreed mine was pretty bad. It was also awkward and quiet in there you could hear a pen drop. I don’t know how to explain it other than the vibe in there was odd and my food just seemed old and slapped together, we were eager to leave for sure.

‼️ My 12 year old daughter ordered a hot chocolate at a Christmas event and her father specifically asked for KIDS TEMP! So she turned the hot chocolate up expecting that BUT IT WAS NOT! IT WAS PIPING HOT! Her tongue is badly burnt she is barely able to eat or drink anything! So WARNING! To anyone that orders hot beverages for their kids! Going to cost a doctors visit! Extremely upset!

*week later update* as per requested by the shop owner in a reply, I did call in, was told the owner wasn’t there, said they would relay the message with my number etc for them to return the call…. Never got the call back, thank you.
Sorry folks, no can do. I tried to reach out to them via email for assistance or correction to no avail prior to this review.
Very disappointing. Usually I’ll get colorful with details but, with such little effort put forth by this shop, I’m compelled to match the lack of care.
A- they don’t bake anything there- which is to say they buy their product frozen. Thats right, a bagel place that doesn’t bake their own bagels and has frozen product shipped in. Zero fresh baked anything here.
B- the bagels themselves are not bagels at all- they’re variations of white bread buns with a hole. The least bagel-like bagel I’ve had. Lender’s at the grocery store is better, and that’s not good.
C- the spreads are so incredibly overpriced, I just feel duped and suckered. They couldn’t even be bothered to completely fill the 4oz containers we bought… at $6 each ($18 for 3 small salad dressing containers not filled). One of the flavors was literally Lipton soup mix tossed in with a block of Philadelphia. Not acceptable.
$27 for 6 bagels and 3 half filled 4-oz spreads. I feel lucky that I wasn’t stupid enough to get the 6-oz $9-each containers, and only paid $18 for 12-oz (that’s $24/pound cream cheese).
We’re local Haywood people, and saddened with this Waynesville business. Who can afford this and why?
If the product just had a whimper of effort we’d be less disappointed- but alas, it’s just a very lazy excuse to pinch the tourist economy a little bit more. Who cares about the local year round population that keep Main Street up and running in the off-seasons? Very frustrating to pay exorbitant prices for such low quality product and effort.
Specific to this google review regarding the service and atmosphere- Place smelled heavily like cleaning products when you first walk in, there was no one there and it took 20 minutes for a pretty simple to-go order.

Jalapeño bagel, bacon, eeg, and cheese breakfast. It’s delicious! The bagel isn’t too dense and the Jalapeño flavor is subtle but still has a small kick. Bacon is perfectly crisp wich compliments the scrambled eggs and cheese. Definitely going to stop by again.
