Service was WONDERFUL.
Regan and the other lovely woman working tonight were both very attentive, friendly and generally lovely ladies to be served by.
The quality of food is maybe 3-star worthy, but you can tell love gets put into it. This place is clearly a locals hangout and a place to weary travelers to enjoy a quiet meal.
Nice little spot in the middle of the desert.

Friends brought me here today for breakfast. Everything from the service to the food was top notch! Even the decor was interesting and beautiful, including some hand-painted murals. The hash browns were the best I ever had, obviously made from fresh potatoes. I can’t wait to go back … but, I heard they’re closing soon. The business was sold. My new favorite restaurant will soon be no more. Enjoy it while you can, everybody.

We came early, @4:30 on a Friday evening, and had no trouble getting a table. When we left, @5:40, there was the start of a waiting line, but I think it’s because they were cleaning tables. Food was phenomenal, especially the bacon! My husband had a double bacon cheeseburger with fries and I had a club sandwich with tots. Our waitress was phenomenal as well; she stopped several times to make sure we were good. Building is a little older, but it was well kept and the decorations were nice.

Chicken Fried Chicken sandwich was crunchy, large, and delicious. It was served very hot with tomatoes and pickles. The honey mustard was an unexpected touch. Fries tasted like Arby’s fries.
The service was fantastic. Very friendly, quick, knowledgeable, and helpful. They provided a nice welcoming feeling. You can tell they look after their customers.
I highly recommend this place of you want a tasty fresh meal. This is much better than any fastfood options in the area. This is the best restaurant around.

Very quick & friendly service – everyone there is nice & the food is great. Today I had the Garden Omelette – the veggies (mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, etc.) tasted fresh & not overcooked – same for the home fries. And of course plenty of good coffee. 🙂

My 1st impression is that this is a typical diner. I was quickly seated and the coffee is excellent.
I got exactly what I ordered and was served with a smile. The sausage and cheese omelet were awesome, but on this sitting, the home fries were a little under cooked. I’ll have to come back and test them again. Folks around here say that was unusual. I love the decor, much of which is for sale and I can’t complain about clean restrooms.
I suspect I’ll be back a bit over the next two months, so follow me for updates. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy the show.

Liver and gravy was good. Liver was tender. I would have seasoned it though to give it more flavor with onion and garlic powder, salt and pepper. And the cheeseburger should have been seasoned with salt and pepper. The chilli was decent with oyster crackers.

Update, we went for a late lunch today. Service great. Burgers, delicious. Fries crisp and fresh. Onion rings YUM and generous! Previous visit to this establishment was far less satisfactory. REVIEW FROM DECEMBER 2023: I don’t get to eat at a restaurant often for breakfast. The potatoes to me are a key breakfast treat as I usually don’t make them at home for breakfast. When a breakfast menu says home fries, I think crunchy crispy golden brown little dices or sticks of potato. Here, they were big par boiled chunks of potato with some spice and not a bit of crispy golden crunch, just raw steamed. Bummer. Everything else was just food with no pride. Place was clean. Service was fast.

Gabby was a wonderful server. The steaks, salmon, fried cod were all delicious. Fantastic baked potatoes. Steak definitely needs the onions and mushrooms on it. We were pleasantly surprised.

Very friendly service and great food and nice atmosphere inside. We stopped for lunch wanting a break from McD etc so decided to try this on a whim and glad we went. Had Spanish omlette and garden omlette from all day breakfast menu – both were good. Chicken strips and tater tots for kid…it came with lettuce! Kid happily munched everything including lettuce.
