I have traveled to many states and eaten in quite a few restaurants. I can say for certain this is absolutely the worst rest I have ever been to. $7 piece of ham was tiny and cold. The rest of the $17 meal was no better. Hash browns were cold and soggy, eggs were not cooked how we asked at all. The toast was literally stale. Did not try sausage because of how gross it looked. Every single part of this “meal” was disappointing. Paper straws were horrible (PFAS is not better than plastic). Check was just a slip of paper no checkbook and for the price that’s ridiculous. Waited way too long for food. I would highly recommend anyone planning on going here to stay away because anything is better. No justification for this.

What an amazing Thanksgiving lunch we enjoyed. The food was excellent. The turkey and ham were some of the best we’ve ever tasted. We had Savannah as a waitress and she was amazing and so attentive. All the servers/staff around the buffet were very helpful as well. We normally have plans on Thanksgiving, but this year that changed very last minute, and we were so blessed to be able to get one of the last reservations. Thank you all for doing this and for giving up part of your Thanksgiving to make ours more memorable. Many blessings to you all.

Everything was on point. Fast service, delicious food and our waitress Kayla was awesome.

The slowest service. 10 minutes by the host stand before we were even acknowledged. Sat at our table for about 10 more minutes before a wait staff stopped by. Our order was placed and we waited over an hour before receiving our food. The food was pretty good thank goodness. All of this with the restaurant only having about 4 tables full. So you cant blame it on being busy. Would never come back simply because it wasted so much of our evening. A cool atmosphere and beautiful view.

We had some great eats here! So convenient from staying in the Lodge but even if you’re not come here! Pictured below is the Sasquatch Slammer, which my husband very much enjoyed. We also got pizza to go and enjoyed it in our room- do it! So good.

The pork chops were so salty they were borderline inedible. The rosemary chicken may have once been in the same room as rosemary. The mashed potatoes were unpleasant. The carrots were meh. I think the salad dressing was the decent thing served between my wife and I. Service was a little slow but otherwise fine. We got a view of the parking lot.

The chicken nachos were OK, but I would use diff cheese and chicken.
The beer prices are excellent. Under $5 for a large Columbus IPA.

Was lured to the Thanksgiving buffet by the menu and pictures. Unfortunately we were very disappointed to say the least. Once in the lodge no signage directing us to the restaurant. We had to ask at the front desk. Followed what seemed like a back hallway to elevator, which opened across the hall from a service entrance to the kitchen. Again no direction to the restaurant other than to follow the sound of people. Heard several conversations that the food was poor, and cold meat. Check in was awkward. First impressions were the dining room was dark wood with dark carpet, seemed like built in the 70’s with no updating since,
The buffet line seemed too far away, including for staff to service it. The cold foods were very bland and the food that was to be hot was slightly warm. The prime rib carving station had meat that was very pink, and of course cold. The salad table was a mess from not being serviced. The good news; Mountain Dew was cold, the store bought pies were…good for store bought!
The $95 for two was near robbery, of the customers. I’ll change my initial impression from very disappointing to very, very disappointing. If the restaurant is operated by a contractor the MWCD needs to address the contract this Monday and begin a search for new.

Had breakfast as a family on a Sunday morning. The food was nothing special. Pancakes tasted of flour and baking powder. The rest of the food was luke warm and very greasey. Would not recommend when Cambridge is as close as it is. Our server was very nice and attentive.

The Thanksgiving 2024 buffet was extremely disappointing for $42 per person. We sat down and waited a long time before our waitress came to ask us for our drink orders. There were no burners/warmers/chafing dishes to keep the food warm, so all of the food was room temperature, some of it just plain COLD. Green bean casserole: the beans were crunchy and the dish was absolutely flavorless, no seasoning in it whatsoever. Brussel sprouts: tasted boiled and flavorless, and did not have the cranberries and bacon on it like the menu said it would. I heard a woman next to me say, “Ugh, the brussel sprouts look terrible! I’m not having any of that!” Salmon: was dry and did not have any blackberry honey glaze on it, as stated on the menu. And please tell me, where was the cheese in the mac-in-cheese? Cranberry apple grilled chicken: the chicken was plain chicken breast, no cranberry apple on it. Charcuterie board was picked over, needed replenishing- this should be done consistently, knowing people will be arriving constantly all day long. At times, there were no clean plates on the buffet table People were waiting awhile for clean plates to be replenished. What tasted good: ham, prime rib, and the garlic and herb cheese stuffed mushrooms. But, again, the food was NOT warm at ALL. What a complete WASTE of $42 per person! Tip: For the unfortunate people who may eat there in upcoming years, you should put signs in front of the food items, identifying the items, and also place signs directing where the restaurant is located in the lodge. We wandered to find it, and I also saw other people trying to navigate where to find the buffet/restaurant. Do better, Timbers restaurant, if you are going to charge $42 per person.
