I wouldn’t recommend their fried chicken. I do like my fried chicken on the extra side of crispy, but the breading was so crispy in some (many) places that it could chip a tooth if you aren’t careful.

The salad was good. The French fries were excellent and crispy. The price was very reasonable.

The male owner didn’t seem to care about my suggestion on their fried chicken. I’m not sure if there was too much baking powder in the breading or why it was just too hard to crumble up when chewing. It could seriously break or chip a tooth.

Under the breading was some good chicken.

The female owner seemed to care more but mainly said that the size of the chicken pieces weren’t to her liking, and that is what the vendor sends them. The wing was a little small but I knew this when I ordered it. I was still full and got enough food to eat when I left.

I am glad we tried this place (was a little hesitant because of the reviews). Our food was great. And sitting on the patio to enjoy the peacefulness of this tourist town was delightful.

We stopped by when we got into town. We enjoyed the outside patio as our dog was with us. We got the Tuna melt, Gyro, Club, and avocado sandwich. The food was delicious as everything tasted better in Ouray. The owner was nice enough to drop the food off to us and we had a special guest, their dog. She was sweet and made sure we enjoyed the food. We had no issues with the food and the atmosphere outside.

Pet friendly, shaded patio, and cute store. My wife and I will be back when her parents are in town.

Friend staff and one of two places in town that serves breakfast. Their Mac n cheese burger is phenomenal with homemade Mac n cheese. Really cool atmosphere. Their home made donuts are delicious as well.

Stopped in to grab sandwiches for our hike in Ouray. When I asked the guy behind the counter how big the sandwiches were to see if I could split one with my friend his answer was “the sandwiches are served on sliced bread.” I asked him if he could show me with his hands how big the sandwiches were and he refused. After a brief back and forth in which the man was increasingly rude, I decided to leave without ordering. Definitely not interested in eating there if basic questions aren’t answered and the staff is rude.

Stopped in for some donuts and was not disappointed in a single one of them. Usually when I get a half dozen of different types, there is a “winner” among them better than the rest. These were ALL amazing. All but one that I got was a fantastic light and fluffy yeast donut, most with a glaze as well that can’t hurt. But fun flavors like cinnamon crunch on TOP of that just made it into perfection territory.

The food was great, the service was great, and the views were great! This was our first stop in the town and we had a big group. I was glad to find fresh salads on the menu and it did not disappoint. Also the espresso chip ice cream was on point. I highly recommend this stop if you are passing through. The menus had something for everyone, even picky kids.

Expensive meal of ice cold fries served with sweet, dry, over-battered & over-fried chicken that looked small enough to be squab. I couldn’t eat more than a third, it was so bad.

My husband’s club sandwich seemed to be good, if crazily overpriced.

Loved it. First one in the door. Chocolate chocolate cake donut with sprinkles and yeast raised with chocolate frosting. That was the appetizer as we waited for our meal. Biscuits and gravy are quite good. Two large biscuits with two sausage patties and I subbed eggs for hash browns. Super good. If you are looking for breakfast in Ouray check this place out. The upfront guy is quite the comedian and the two young ladies in the kitchen did a bang up job doing the cooking.

After reading a review that slammed their fried chicken, claiming that it was much too crunchy, I knew I had to try it. It was fantastic. Great flavor and an excellent – perfectly reasonable – crunch.

The fries that came with my meal were good, and the salad was…well, a salad. I mean, it was fine, but let’s be honest, I came for the fried chicken so the side salad was never a priority.

While waiting for our food, we chatted with the owners. They were very friendly. We also walked around the restaurant a bit. It has a cozy sort of atmosphere with a lot of local posters and nice art.

When I pass through or visit Ouray from now on, this is very likely to be one of my stops. I enjoyed it, and you might, too.
