This was our second time at the restaurant and it’s the perfect date night location. Our server was quick, responsive, and friendly. We both got the Steak and frites which was amazing the truffle fries were delicious and the steak was crispy yet tender. The crab cake to start was the perfect portion and felt very fresh. The gooey lemon butter cake was balanced with the tart berry reduction. We will be back to try something different for sure or maybe brunch.

Okay Food, Slow Service, Not Quite Worth the Price!!!
Shelby and I ate at Timber Wood Fire Bistro yesterday while taking a day trip from KC. We came in around 1:30pm on a Tuesday, so the restaurant wasn’t busy, but everything came out extremely slowly.
We ordered the jalapeño bacon shrimp skewer, the mini wedge salad, the Cajun Ribeye, and the Wagyu steak and fries. The food itself was okay. Nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out for the price point.
Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but between the slow service and the just-okay food, it didn’t feel worth what we paid. I would not go out of my way to return.

Outstanding experience at Timber Wood Fire Bistro!
Reservations were simple to make and honored right on time. We had a party of five, everyone ordered something different, and we started with appetizers. Everything came out promptly, hot, and exactly as ordered. Service was truly 5-star—attentive, friendly, and on point without ever feeling rushed.
The ambiance is fantastic, too. We loved the live-edge décor and tables—they add a warm, modern touch that makes the space feel special.
Highly recommend Timber Wood Fire Bistro for a seamless, delicious night out. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent vibe to this place. Appetizers were all very very good. Nice variety of drinks. Our party of 16 was served professionally and prompt. Would go again.

Timber is a wonderful spot for a date night. Delicious wine and incredible wagyu steak. The pizza is pretty good too. The lemon desert with raspberry sauce is mouth watering as well. My only complaint is that the service is lacking, they seemed under staffed and scarcely bussed our table throughout the night.

Note: this review is is only for desserts.
We stumbled into Timber just for drinks and desserts. And boy we made the right call. We ordered everything on their dessert menu and everything was great. But one dish absolutely deserves a special call out.
If you are at Timber, you MUST try the Lemon Gooey Buttercake. This is it. This is the one dessert that you have to check out. The buttercake has a slight crackling crunch on the outside but absolutely soft and gooey inside. Itself is already marvelous. But then you throw in the lemon cream and goo in the middle. At first, the sour taste may not gel but it soon balances the buttery taste of the gooey cake. Again, this one is special. Just for this dessert, I’d return again.
The cherry streudel was also quite good and I’d recommend that as your second choice if you had to order one more.

They indicate GF on their menu however I ordered the GF Lobster Ravioli, instead they brought me GF plain gnocchi without asking me what I wanted instead as apparently even though the lobster Ravioli was marked as a GF option, they don’t make it GF? I was offered the option to add a protein to the Gnocchi that I never requested. Needless to say I was disappointed as I was looking forward to the item I ordered. A bit off-putting that instead of coming over to ask first a plate of something I didn’t order was served. I had 2 bites & wasn’t a fan, super doughy & heavy, they did credit the dish but wasn’t a great 1st impression. If you are GF I wouldn’t bother coming here. Brussel sprout appetizer was good overall but $55 for a side salad, cranberry walnut salad with chicken, brussel sprouts & 2 iced teas seemed a bit much imo.

The food was absolutely amazing! Everything we ate was an absolute flavor bomb and our server Emily was a delight! She was so helpful with the menu as it was our first time there and was very attentive as well. We will definitely be coming back to try other dishes since it was so hard to choose which dish to try first.

Dinner for Father’s Day. Disappointed they didn’t have anything special for Father’s, but atmosphere was very nice. Our server was attentive to our needs. Food had tons of flavors and was elegant. Several gluten-free options notated on their menu. Would love to revisit and try new entrée! We got baked chicken, salmon, lamb chops, steak medallions. All great flavor.

Perfect night! Entering the restaurant the young ladies at the front desk were so welcoming, smiling and seemed to enjoy being at work. Had reservations and were seated right away. The place was packed. Our waitress, Nancy, was very tentative. We asked about several different dishes and she was very knowledgeable about the menu items we asked about. With the pasta being made fresh in house 3 entrees were chosen; beef stroganoff, lobster raviolis and Gnocchi with chicken. All entrees were delicious- kudos to the chef! Seasonal cheese cake, blueberry lemon. Oh my goodness amazing – so good! It’s hard to find all good qualities in a restaurant anymore but I have to say Timber Wood you met every expectation and more. Will definitely be back and will request Nancy as our waitress.
