I had a really great experience! Everytime I come here I’m so warmly welcomed and taken care of. This place is so cozy and the staff makes sure that experience continues! Very very good food and a great variety, from fish, shrimp, steak, and my favorite WOOD SMOKED CHICKEN. I’m telling you, it’s the best chicken ever. Overall very good staff, very good food, amazing place. The location is right off the highway and definitely a must stop if you’re traveling through!!

First time being back in a Timber Lodge after about 30 years due to its location. Are server was absolutely the sweetest young lady. My daughter got the fettuccine alfredo and I chose the walleye. A bit different since they changed the bread I guess a couple years ago but the garlic butter was fantastic. Both were very good and we will definitely be back.

Bad service.Went here for lunch with my family. Our visit was over 2 hours. Restaurant was not very busy. My cup of water had red lipsticks gloss on it. Waiter proceeded to serve me the cup until I pointed it out. We asked for a manager, that was no better, she had the big gold earrings hoops. Ifykyk. Behind my back from the kitchen I could hear the waiter talking crap about us. Terrible service for a $170 bill.

Yesterday was my first time having the pleasure of eating at TimberLodge Steakhouse, and I must say it was amazing!!! The food was brought out promptly, hot, and delicious. The Bloody Mary was a sight to see with a taste to match. I loved the comfy vibe with fire place and log cabin atmosphere. But the service…. The service was SPECTACULAR!!!! Jack hands down made my experience fun, informative, and seamless! That young man deserves a raise. Don’t forget to try the pretzel it was to die for! For dinner we had steak broccoli cheesy hashbrowns with a delicious peppercorn sauce. Did I mention they make all of their sauces in house?! YUM!!! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very nice steakhouse on the road a little ways outside Owatonna. Appetizers were great although a little overpriced in my view for what you get. Steak was great. Atmosphere is like you’re staying in a log cabin. Will definitely be eating here again.

This place is hit and miss, After last night supper 1/16 not sure we will be back. I ordered the filet, it was cooked to my liking but the steak had no flavor and didn’t come with the peppercorn cream sauce. Once I received the sauce all it tasted of was cream. Salt and pepper go along way. My better half order the prime rib the lumber jack cut. That came out and they just cut the end off, half of it was fat! I have never seen a restaurant service the very end like that. The Auju was water. The loaded back potato had 3 back bits on it. The star of the whole show was the fried Brussels and the green beans we got with our meal. Over all for the price you pay it should be consistent and flavor full.

I sat at the bar & the bar tender stood there with his back to me for 15 minutes talking & messing with his phone before even acknowledging me. Other customers tried to tell him to turn around, but me ignored them. I still tipped accordingly, like I had good service.Because the food was really good, but i won’t won’t be back anytime soon. The cook deserves all the tip, not the server. He sucked completely. I couldn’t even get a glass of water when my food came to go with it. Yes, I had something to drink at the time, but I like ice water with my meal . I don’t think that’s asking to much for service….

Just a great example of an area’s core – original culture- Food was wonderful and cooked perfectly, served with pride and absolutely a must stop ! Campfire sirloin tips – mash green beans plus desert just the tip of a great menu!
