Serving the freshest food around for breakfast and lunch! All our 100% Angus beef patties are hand pressed and NEVER frozen, our chicken fried steaks are bread in-house and we even have our own BBQ sauce amongst a TON of other house-made goodies. Don’t forget to browse the walls filled with historic artifacts (even a padlock from Alcatraz) while you’re waiting for your food and take a couple bags of house-made beef jerky home to share with your friends and family! The Dirty Tots, and the The Lodge burger (elk Patty substitute) were exceptionally tasty. The waitress hustled the whole time we were there and did a fantastic job! We never had an empty drink cup!!!! And if you’ve never had fried Oreos, you’ve definitely gotta try them!!!!

Super cute and clean. Service was a little slow.. don’t let that keep you away. The waitress was working her tail off! Maybe a little understaffed for breakfast on a Wednesday. The breakfast was delicious!! French toast and bacon for me. Hubby had chicken fried steak, eggs and toast. The steak was crunchy on the outside and cut with a fork! Gravy was decent. The toast was extra toasty. We will definitely be back. The pesto Benedict is my next try. How interesting!

The breakfast was great. Hot bacon and my eggs were cooked perfectly. The waitress who is also the owner worked well with a group of elderly gentlemen and coffee. My coffee was never empty. The food was timely and hot. I was struck by a black and white painting for sale. The piece was stunning I had to have it. The use if color to bring the light into the painting. Beautiful.

Such a cute cafe! Clean, reasonably priced, great food, wide variety to choose from and love our waitress. My husband and I just had a burger and fries, but it was really good. This is a gem in a small town, we highly recommend.

Wife and I had breakfast Saturday morning. Service was a little slow. The food was fine even though my portion of hashbrowns was unexpectedly small. The only real complaint I had was the coffee was so weak, you couldn’t call it coffee. I don’t understand why a lot of restaurants nowadays can’t make a real pot of coffee. I don’t want to harp on this, but the coffee was literally warm water with a slightly brown color to it, almost like they had used the same coffee for three or four pots.
