Timber Haven is a great spot in Antigo! The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious (especially the fish fry!), and the atmosphere is welcoming. With a full menu and daily specials, it’s the perfect place to gather with friends for a good time.

Love this place!! The best wings, great soup/salad bar on the weekends along with fantastic fish. Literally never had anything bad here. Wonderful owner (Lori) and bartender (Emma) who make all feel welcome.

This place is always unable to accommodate larger parties. We try to support local business as we are local. However, it is very difficult to do so when we are told “no, we can NOT accommodate a party of 10” as soon as we walked in. We would’ve been fine with sitting, drinking, and waiting. The older lady at the bar is very unpleasant with zero hospitality. Bigger parties, please go support other local businesses!

I live about 25 mins north of here. Have had a few good fish fries here. This evening my Grandma and I went for steak, since we’ve both heard good things. We are pretty picky with steak, and we were not disappointed with our visit! Best steak we have had in a long time. Id even say it’s the best in the area. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Steak was close to fork tender, with amazing flavor! Will be back soon!

Timber Haven is a nice place for dinner. The food is a good value. The drinks like most drinks in the area are at best poor. There seems to be a disconnect on what is ordered virus delivered. I consistently order drinks that when properly made do not include any soda. But each time they are delivered with a soda product used. On our last visit there was some sort of drama in the kitchen which is distracting as is the playing of dice out in the bar. As a result, our visits will be declining in frequency. We don’t go out for other people’s drama. We have also experienced the drunken person being obnoxious in the bar as well. So, the combination of all of these things will dictate our actions going forward.

We had the 2 piece haddock dinner that tasted very good except the fish were the size of fish sticks! Our cocktails were weak also. We always try different locations and unfortunately we won’t be back for fish fries. Waitress was very friendly. Salad bar was just ok.
