Every day on my way to my very first Grown Up job (lol) I would stop here at this timmies. Every day. From the very beginning of this Timmies existing here, it was here for me. This place saw me through my first horrific heartbreak. This store got me through losing both grand parents.

This place was open for 24 hours at one point and It became a safe haven for night owls who sought quiet.

The manager here, Michelle remembered me, despite not having stepped foot in here in nearly 7 years.

I moved to Denver Colorado. There is not a single Coffee place there who could even compare to my Jackson timmies. That is very biased of me so no worries if this review doesn’t do it for you.

But I need you all to know how important these small town staples are. sure its not a mom & pop shop

I’ll say it here though: This place has always made me feel safe, welcome, and happy.

Late night ice cream was a treat I miss every day in Colorado.

I missed this place. Its the staff here that really made me feel the way I feel. Anyone could work here, but at the end of the day, the folks who are already here are basically family to me in some small or big way.

Jackson doesn’t have much. In fact, everytime I return, there’s less and less.
I’m thankful for this locations steadfast existence.

I’m so happy timmies came to Jackson. I miss it and as soon as I touch down in detroit airport, I’m thinking about donuts and coffee from this specific location.

I’ve even been to Canadian locations several times.

This is MY timmies tho.
I appreciate every single person who works here, and basically everyone who walks in (minus the one older gentleman who decided to start hitting the service bell over and over as I type this.)

Thank you for being an unsuspecting staple and rock in my life, Timmies of Jackson (across from the westwood)

I’ve been going here everyday for over a year, in the last 2 months I’ve had the worst service here than anywhere ever…..why does it take 25 -30 minutes to make 2 coffees?! There basically no point and ordering at the speaker because they either get it wrong completely or ask your order again 3-4 times before giving you worse coffees than you could make at home… This place is a waste of time and money at this point, I’m going to Dunkin.

Tim Hortons is a Canadian chain that has made inroads in Jackson in recent years. Not only can one get coffee, ice cream, donuts, and sandwiches here, but they speak Canadian, which allows we Michiganders a convenient place to practice our second tongue, Yooper-ese. Yah, ey? So recently I stopped in to have a dine-in late lunch at the West Michigan Ave. location. First impressions: wow, this place looks really clean! And it smells great. The aroma of brewed coffee mixed with pastries baking primes the appetite. Service at the counter was prompt and friendly. In fact, all the staff appear to be in a jovial mood, cracking jokes with each other. This is unusual for a fast food place in my experience. I order a ham sandwich lunch meal, which comes with chips and a pop (see? this is Michigan – we drink pop here, not soda, not Coke. Unless your pop also happens to be a Coke…but I digress). The food comes out pretty quickly and I go to find a seat. Upon closer inspection, several of the dining room tables have crumbs on them but nothing egregious. I choose a table that is as spotless as the rest of the restaurant looks. As I get into my meal, my ham and cheese sandwich was made to order and was nicely prepared. Although maybe not as picturesque as the menu photo would suggest, I’d describe my sandwich as neat and tidy. The rustic bun is substantial and has a nice crunch to it. The ham, Swiss, tomato, lettuce, and mayo are fresh and well-proportioned. All in all for a chain offering, this is a very nice sandwich. It tastes every bit as good as it looks. The kettle potato chips now come in a bag, there are enough of them (1.5 oz), and they are a nice salty and crunchy counterpoint to my Sprite soft drink. But they don’t hold a candle to the way Tim Horton’s used to do potato chips, where they were scooped out of a heated hopper and served to you toasty warm in a wax paper sleeve. Not only was this a more eco-friendly packaging way to deliver the chips to the customer, but the sensory experience of warm, salty, crunchy, slightly greasy chips just can’t be matched by any chips in a bag. Oh well, I’m sure there is an accountant somewhere at Tim Hortons HQ who is happy about this change, my opinion’s notwithstanding. Speaking of which, my entire meal clocked in at $9.31 which at today’s fast food prices is a bargain. Although I am more a fan of mom and pop restaurants and tend to avoid chains, Tim Hortons is an unusual Canadian outpost of quality and value, so I happily make an exception for them. There’s something about this Tim Hortons. I don’t know what they’re doing, but they’re doing something right. So check it out, eh?

I ordered two drip coffees, the original blend. One black and one with cream. Very good coffee. Friendly and fast service.

It’s a coffee chain that sells, coffee, donuts, bagels, breakfast sandwiches and some pastries. This location has a Cold Stone creamery too.

I enjoy their Americano, not much more to say.

Unfortunately my husband orders an ores Capp and it had no Oreo in it nor any whip cream or topping. To top it off the lady at the window was very rude while ordering and picking up at the window. It’s sad that this is how the visit ended up as I do not live near a Tim Hortons and was very excited to receive my once a year Capp!

“Our family usually stops at this Tim Hortons once a week before the bus picks up the kids, and it’s always a great experience. The staff is friendly, quick, and always gets our order right. They’re wonderful with kids too, which makes our little stop even more enjoyable. It’s a nice way to start the morning, and we appreciate how on top of things the team is every time!”

Most of the time the employees are kind – but the mark is just always missed. I know better than to go to this location if I’m ordering anything other than a black cold brew. I gave another chance today and ordered a cold foam cold brew but requested HALF SWEET/HALF as much foam. I received what actually looks to be double or triple the foam and unbearably sweet. This has happened all 3 times I’ve requested just a splash/half as much foam. Very disappointing.

The last 2 times I’ve been to this location they’ve got my order completely wrong. You seriously have to check every item in the bag and open up each sandwich to make sure you get what you ask for!
