Waited in line for 20 minutes just to finally wait at the speaker to hold 3 times for them to finally ask what I wanted. After telling them what I wanted they told me they couldn’t make the coffee because of their water issue. Having an employee come out to the line or even a note on the screen telling everyone what is going on would have been appreciated. We left with nothing and should have not waited so long to be told

This Tim Hortons was one of the best I’ve been to in a long time. I stopped going because of some people and lack of service at some locations. The two gentlemen working on a Saturday Afternoon were extremely kind to my partner and I. We both got chilli and sat in the lounge area next to the fire place. I wished we lived in the area as I would come back to this location. But next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely stop in.

I am not one to write bad reviews, but man this place is the pits. I lived above a Tim Hortons when I was in college and ate the same sandwich and coffee every morning for 5 years but even if I had lost all my taste buds and eyesight I could still tell you that something was completely wrong with my order. Not to mention the fact that the customer service, while virtually nonexistent, was the icing on top of my interactions here. I’ve worked in food service for more than a decade-and even at my most stressed, I really don’t think “WELL, WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?” is a proper follow-up response in any caliber to being told “my coffee doesn’t taste right.” Usually an immediate apology followed by the offer to re-make the drink or food item is the industry standard, but yeah, that sure is a rational and well-thought out response. I even left my ‘complaint’, (moreso a suggestion)-open ended so one of the staff members could follow up with giving me a different drink while I handed them the other one. It looked like water and coffee creamer mixed together, and tasted a lot worse than it looked. “I’m not really sure, the drink just doesn’t taste like it’s made correctly.’ I said, still hoping for an amicable solution while trying to de-escalate, as if the onus were on me. “AGAIN, WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO?” I was fighting a losing battle. I thought, okay, maybe the sandwich will be the saving grace of this interaction. Wrong again. Bagel wasn’t toasted, egg tasted and smelled like it was picked off the floor after sitting in mop-bucket water, cheese might have been still frozen as far as I could tell-and when I asked for extra lettuce, I got maybe 3 shreds in total. Don’t ask my about the bacon since I barely got a bite down. A far cry from the picture on the menu signboard. Even on my worst day with a migraine and half my vision gone I could make something more appealing than that. I get it, as someone who works in the hospitality industry-it’s rough out here, which leads me into my last point which is that knowing all of that- I chose to tip the woman who took my order at the window-the same woman who stood there while her manager barked at me while I meekly held my cup in my lap, wondering what the big deal was with asking for a different one, all the while the sanpaku eyed manager barked ‘what do you want me to do’ about 3 more times before she shut the window. There were maybe 3 cars behind us, mind you. If that’s how you act during a mini-rush (heavy emphasis on the mini, here) then I’d highly suggest you take an anger management class or at the very least be kept in back of house. This isn’t 2008 anymore-a coffee and breakfast sandwich is 11 dollars-11 dollars PLUS tip in my case. I have to work for 1 hour to make $10.00 so Tim Hortons stole and hour of my life and that’s what prompted me to write this review. They did not give me a receipt either so I was at a loss of what to do or who to call to get my $11.00 back and I have a strong feeling that if I call the store for their input about that inquiry, I’d be asked what they’d like ME to do about it.

I have gone there more than 10 times early in the morning in December and again this month, and every time they tell me that the French Vanilla machine is down or that they don’t have it.
They told me they ordered a second machine, but now they say both machines are not working, and sometimes they even say they don’t have French Vanilla at all.
I really want the store owner or management to know what is happening there every day, because this keeps happening and it is very frustrating for customers who come early just to get this drink.

The service and atmosphere were fine the mango refresher I got tasted weird and rather watery then any other time I’ve ever gotten it plus they added some whitish orange rectangular shaped “fruit” at the top and I’m not really sure what it is and I don’t want to find out. If I could give the donut I had a rating it was pretty good I’ll give it like a 4 but please do something about that drink I’m not sure if I’ve missed a change to the drink or it’s just you guys messing it up. Thank you.

I went Tim Hortons around 8am ordered a strawberry watermelon refresher some timbits and a cookie. Once I left I noticed my drink was extremely sweet. My timbits weren’t fresh either but I didn’t complain on anything just left and saved my drink for later so I can add ice to water it down a bit. I was working in the area for a few hours so when I was done went back and asked for a cup of ice so I can water it down and was told I had to pay for the cup. I said well can you just add the ice to my Tim Hortons drink I don’t want to buy a cup when you can just fill up my actual cup I bought a few hours ago. She then tells me she doesn’t have proof that I bought the cup. Mind you we are talking about ICE that she said was free. But instead this employee wanted to go back and forth about her not knowing if the cup was bought or not. Just like I told her this was weird and petty behavior and you’re representing Tim Horton as a brand. To deny someone of ice for a drink that was purchased not only today but from the same location and franchise is distasteful. I regret spending my money with this company. Franchises like this is what makes a bad name for the business. When all she had to do was add ice to a drink I already purchased from her I didn’t even mention or complain about the drink or my timbits weren’t fresh, just wanted ice. As a fellow business owner I don’t agree that the customer is always right but sometimes some things aren’t worth the bad reputation that you’ll get. In this case filling my already purchased cup with ice to dilute the sweetness would’ve been the kind thing to do. Especially since it didn’t cost ur business anything. Now I think this company doesn’t really care about the customers. Imagine if everyone just stopped supporting this business over little small things like ice. You guys Probably will charge for napkins and straws too. It’s not worth losing paying customers but I for sure won’t be back. Fyi it was the heavy set woman in the drive through. I’ve also included my transaction so it’s known I actually did spend my money at the Novi location today! 9/29

I love stopping at this location when I was at my family in the Wixom/Novi area. Mary is always so friendly and kind and I normally see her during the drive-through but today I walked in and she was working the front register. A few breakfast items changed and so she helped me decide which was best for our large order. Everything came out fresh and delicious in the store was organized, clean and so many donuts were available to pick. Will be back again to this specific store on this side of town when I visit.
