I ordered a hot latte (3 cream and sugar) along with a croissant sandwich. The young gentleman at the counter was polite and seemed new, but when I received my drink, it was cold. I politely asked if it could be reheated, and he turned to a lady named Madison for guidance. Without even checking the drink or listening to the issue, she said “no, we can’t do that” because there was a line behind me.
The new staff member looked confused and unsure how to handle the situation, and Madison didn’t step in to assist or take ownership. When I later called to explain what happened, she kept repeating that “3 creamers made it cold” and that I could come back for another one — but by then, the experience had already been ruined.
This isn’t the quality or customer care I’ve come to expect from Tim Hortons. Madison should focus more on customer experience and service quality rather than just speed or quantity.
Honestly, I’ve never faced this kind of treatment at any other Tim Hortons, and next time I might just go to the McDonald’s nearby — at least they make sure your latte is served hot and with care.
Thank you for taking the time to look into this.
This is a plea to the store owner/manager.
11/10/25 approximately 6:45 am. I ordered through the drive through. Brown butter caramel Latte, Hashbrown, Croissant breakfast sandwich. Staff was very friendly no complaints. The received foods however were awful. And for roughly $14 cost? You’re kidding me…. The Hashbrown tasted like doughnuts, was undercooker/soggy, and had no salt. In other words, the same fryer was used for the hashbrowns and the doughnuts. I’m pretty sure thats a no go for this exact reason. The Brown Butter Caramel Latte tasted like peppermint??? The other seasonal drink on the menu? how? That one has me BAFFLED. And finally the breakfast sandwich… was actually quite good.
My Plea in turn, PLEASE whoever owns/manages this store, clean your appliances. Use the correct fryer or switch out the oil. The hashbrowns shouldn’t taste like sweet doughnuts. The butter caramel latte should not taste of peppermint. I do not want anything from the store for free. I want the money I give your overpriced menu items to have some face value. Not a feeling of “thanks for your money dummy, here is some lack of effort garbage, enjoy”
again, i want nothing for free from this store.
I want a brown butter latte to taste of brown butter latte.
I want a hashbrown that tastes of hashbrown.
I hope my customer feedback will help this store, as i still plant to visit and grab a normal cup of coffee.
Hopefully the coffee tastes like coffee….
Thank you Katelin!
