She told me my total was “4.30” and then scanned my phone. Since I thought I was using my points I asked her the total, she rolled her eyes and nastily said “4.30” again. I asked her for assistance and if she could look at my phone to see if I clicked something wrong since again thought I was using my points. She never looked at my phone and just said “I don’t know call the customer number at the bottom of your phone” I asked if she wasn’t allowed to look and she said “I don’t know” I asked if she could scan it again, she did but it didn’t work. I tried to show her that I had the button for redeem my points on, and all she said was “what you want me to scan it a third time” I asked if she could and I tried clicking something on my phone that might have been different. She snapped and said “still 4.30” I told her she was being very rude and unhelpful. I handed her my card she ran it, I asked her for a receipt and she started to shut the window. I said louder “may I have a receipt please” she gave me one. I asked her name and she said “I’m not comfortable giving you that” I said that’s fine but I will be calling to complain. I tried calling the store, she answered, I asked to speak to a manager, and she said “if this was the lady I just spoke to you can call back at 5 am when she’s here bye” and then hung up the phone.
Not sure if she was just having a bad day but she really does not need to be working in customer service or this line of work. Customer service is not her specialty.
