Loved the experience at this Timmy’s. A lot of very friendly people at 6am, was greeted as soon as we walked in with a big smile and “what can we get started for you today?”, and it was overall a pleasant experience. The food is amazing and the bakery items looked very professional and organized!!! A+++++ will be back. And would recommend to friends and family.

Eric at the E. State St. Athens, Ohio location is one of the most kind, funny, and enthusiastic employee of any restaurant I’ve ever been to in all of my 46 year old life! My 14 year old twins and I go through our local Tim Hortons on a semi-regular basis. It’s been the treat they get every time they finish an orthodontist appointment. The first time we heard Eric’s voice on the drive-through we laughed, thinking the way in which he greeted us had to be a joke or dare inside the store. Insert a very enthusiastic voice “Hello! I hope you’re having a GREAT day and I can’t wait to take your order” to the response after I chose a breakfast wrap of “Oh, what a WONDERFUL choice” to my request for a minute while my child decided what she wanted “Kids need time to choose, it’s ok, I’m here and can’t wait to hear the BEST decision they make” to him telling us our total and come to the window, “It’s $12.50, please come around to the window and then have a GLORIOUS day.”
The thing is… this same kind of sing-song, over the top happy and playful person seems to be how is always is because he has taken our order over and over again and each time we love it! While they are out of braces now, we still frequent the drive-through with the hope that he’s working. Every time we hear his voice, we giggle at his contagious happiness and love of his job. Today I finally told him he’s my favorite drive through employee ever, that he always brightens my day and I just am so grateful for him. In the constant turmoil and chaos our world faces every day, I wish we all knew a person like Eric!

I like Tim Hortons, but this trip was not tasty. I went through the drive-in, got a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. I swear it tasted stale. Going through the drive thru I was on Rt. 33 headed towards Columbus before I tasted the bagel and I wasn’t going to turn around. First bad experience at that Tim Hortons.

Whoever is the guy that takes orders in the morning during the week (could be weekend too but I don’t come through) is THE NICEST person I’ve ever interacted with in the drive through. I feel like he’s my therapist as he validates my choices of food/coffee- just this morning I ordered an iced coffee and his response was “absolutely wonderful choice!” He always confirms everything I order and then says something so sweet at the end like “I wish you a wonderful day” or “have the greatest day” and I just can’t say enough about how this simple interaction helps my mornings, even without being face to face. It’s a pleasant reminder that there are still good people in the world. Get this man a raise!!

Eric is an absolute delight in the drive through. Not to get deep, but when he compliments my drink choice for the day, I feel compelled to invite him to my wedding. I don’t even know the guy, but his cheer is infectious. As the store manager of another business in town, I’m telling you now, get that man a raise or promotion before I take his talent for myself!

On October 24 2025 I order a hot French vanilla cappuccino with pumpkin spice flavor. First the girl gave me a iced one so she fixed that one. And gave me ice mocha and that was wrong. I repeated it and she still gave me a hot coffee with cream. I asked for my money back and did not receive it so I left with out plus I did not get my money back
