Tilton House of Pizza has become pretty famous around the state, and even though I often find Greek pizza to be a bit heavy (and even doughy) if not cooked properly, I just had to check it out since I’ve been told by so many to do so and to write a review. First of, the people running the place are amazing. The two guys who seem to be running the place couldn’t be nicer and more connected to each customer. I stood and watched their operation from every perspective and the one constant was these two being connected with the customers in a very genuine and caring way. That alone will often win my business.
Now onto the pizza. In all fairness, I’ve managed and owned pizzerias, so I am a pizza snob to some extent. My specialty and go-to pizza is NY style crust. When I noticed they had two completely different ovens running and used both for each pizza, I was impressed. They use the conveyor oven to set the crust and cheese enough so the pie can be removed from the pan and put in a deck oven for bottom finish and overall bake. When I got my margherita pizza, it was cooked perfectly. No doughy spots and no burnt spots, perfect middle of the road Greek crust with a good crumb. Only thing I didn’t like was the amount of cheese (yes I’m more of a minimalist, lol), and the chopped tomatoes were pretty heavy as well. Having said that, these guys know what they are doing, great guys, and they want to give value and they definitely do that. I will definitely go back when in the area and try some house specials. Great experience, and if you like generous Greek pizza, this is your place. I definitely recommend!!!

Plan ahead or even call ahead your order. Small family pizza shop but the BEST around. We drive an hour to eat here several times a year. The prices are cheaper than most places and the amount of food is worth any amount they charge. $24 LG meat lover pizza, $12 sub. Specials every Wednesday.

I love this place! I literally drive an hour to get food from here. Every bite is delicious from beginning to end. What makes it even better is the customer service and the love that they pour into their food. I wish every establishment could replicate this business. They give you a warm feeling like your family. Please visit them if you’re in the Laconia or Franklin area. You will not regret it.

Salads are fresh and crispy. Pizza is top notch. Crust is delectable. Nice yeasty flavor. Everything was cooked to perfection. Staff is pleasant. Restaurant is clean. My wife had a great gluten free house special as well.

I recently brought a work group to the Ice Castles and we stopped at Tilton House of Pizza for dinner. We had a pretty large group (12 people), and they were incredibly accommodating from the start. They allowed us to call our order in ahead of time and gave us the option to dine in, which made everything so much easier.
When we arrived, the food was ready within minutes, and every single item was exactly as ordered. The staff were exceptional — friendly, patient, and truly went out of their way to make sure our group had a great experience.
Highly recommend this place, and I really appreciate how kind and organized they were with our big group. I just wish I didn’t live almost three hours away!

The pizza was delicious. As visitors from Jersey, we have experienced a great deal of pizza, and this was truly exceptional. The service was outstanding; we felt very much at home, even though this is our first visit to this state. We definitely recommend this establishment and plan to return again.

We are not regulars by any means but when in the area for vacations or ski trips it occupies a spot high on the list for us. Crust is crispy and has great flavor, more than just a handle if you know what I mean. Toppings are fresh and well portioned. Crust is pan style which is a little thicker than I personally like but brings me back to the days of “Book It” days of yesteryear if you feel that. You might have to wait because its good but thats ok because its worth it. Huge selection of toppings and combinations, never had a bad one. Parking is tight. ample seating inside but I would imagine it gets busy at peak times inside. Beers on tap are nice. Staff is very nice, reminds me of an old school pizza joint its not your usual name your hometown HOP. Its better. Go here or order out when you are in the area and you will like yourself for that decision.
