Immediately walking inside, it was very clean, smelled delicious, lots of seating, and a very friendly staff.
There’s an ordering kiosk and it made placing the order super simple.
We ordered a tandoori chicken pizza, butter masala, shack naan, and Shack salad with spicy chicken.
I’m ready to try every one of the pizzas! They all looked delicious.
Our pizza was so good!! I will absolutely get it again!
The Shack salad with spicy chicken was very good. The chicken was cooked perfectly and very flavorful!
The butter masala was pretty good. Was not as flavorful as the rest of the meal. The rice was perfect though but the butter chicken masala had a lil something missing.
The naan as well, seemed to be missing something. We enjoyed it but just not quite as good as other experiences.
The staff were amazing and the restaurant was spotless!
We are likely to return.
Good location. Has option to dine outside in a nice weather. But the wait is too long and they should not serve on to go plastic box or bowl . (Just my opinion).
No question about food it is good! Wings and kabab were really delicious.
I wont ever order mango salad as a side! Again . I didn’t find any mango or any dressing honestly.
It’s like if cambells canned a butter chicken soup
If you’re anywhere near Owings Mills and craving Indian food, you need to check out Tikka Shack. We dined in as a family and tried a huge variety of dishes — and honestly, everything was outstanding. We tried everything at house spice – there were addition levels of heat for those interested.
We had the Shrimp Coconut Tacos, Paneer Butter Taco, Tikka Pizza with chicken, Chicken Biryani, Mango Lassi, Ras Malai, Street Style Chaat (both the samosa and potato versions), Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, and Samosas. For drinks we had fountain coke, Maasa Lychee, and Tractor Orange Cadamon. Every dish had its own personality — from the bold spices to the fresh garnishes — and each one was delicious.
The restaurant itself is super clean with plenty of seating, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. We even ordered some extra to bring home for our lunches the next day! All in all – we all left happy and full!
Highly recommend this spot — it’s perfect for families, groups, or even takeout if you just want seriously good Indian grub at home.
Plenty spaces to sit and eat. Good atmosphere at decent price point. If you are looking for authentic Indian taste, this is not the place, but if you are looking to explore Indian fusion, give it a try.
