This was my first time ordering from this place. I ordered two items, punugulu- which okay not up to the mark and the other one was Chicken 65, and it was extremely SALTY and heavily loaded with red food coloring. When I called to let them know, I was told the manager had tasted it and claimed it was normal and not salty. I’m unsure whether they actually tasted the same batch or if this level of salt is considered acceptable. They did not offer a refund and instead asked us to bring the food back, which was unreasonable—we had already driven 15 minutes in the cold and could not return. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I won’t be ordering from here again. There are several other Indian restaurants in the area with far better food and service. This was my first time ordering from this place. The food was absolutely amazing and full of flavor! The service was excellent. We ordered the fish, which was incredibly tender and moist, along with the goat biryani, veggie biryani, and chicken and every dish was outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This was our second visit to the restaurant, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. We ordered the paneer tikka masala, dal tadka, and crispy garlic naan — all delicious. Great food and excellent service make it well worth a visit.

I tried lunch buffet for the first time because I heard that it’s a better deal than ordering from menu. As soon as I was seated, a roach was dashing across the booth chair lol. I used to work at a chinese buffet and have seen so many roaches, so it was w.e (I know normal people would freak out and leave the place lol). I don’t think non-spciy food eaters can handle this spiciness. The majority ones were very spicy and overally too salty. It’s been 4 hours since we left the restaurant and my husband has gone to the bathroom 5 times today so far (he’s still sitting on the toilet atm).I can feel the spiciness coming up to my stomach and throat. I’m a big spicy eater, but im starting to feel it as I’m writing this review. If you love spicy/super salty food, this is your place. Everything was full of rich flavors and tasty, but I wish it was less salty and spicy. My favorite was that pita bread thing dipped in sauces

Family Dosa Night is back! Thank you Tikka Masala for FINALLY serving a proper South Indian dosa in Delaware. Food was hot and fresh. Sambar was a little thin but the chutneys were just right. The goat biryani was delicious, even the mild was a tad spicy, so don’t be a hero when ordering. The staff is super family friendly and did their best to take care of the entire dining room all night ❤️

First and foremost the food was excellent. Came out hot and as we had ordered it. We came in as the restaurant opened so I understand people are just coming in and maybe there is a shift change but the service was a bit muddled with it not being obvious at times who exactly was our server. Seemed like “everybody was helping everybody” which seemed to let some things fall through the cracks. The atmosphere was fine just very plain and understated but I feel with the cost of the meals (which were very good but pricey) there should be some kind of atmosphere to go along with the food quality to enhance the overall experience. We will be back to the restaurant but also consider take out as an option.

This is our third visit to Tikka Masala in the last month and every time we had a great experience. Their weekend buffets are a great value at $15.99 per person while serving a very good spread including fish and goat curries. The newly expanded and redesigned restaurant offers a very good space and nice ambience. This is a must place if one is interested in Indian food.

I visited Tikka Masala restaurant yesterday for their grand opening for lunch buffet with family. The restaurant was well decorated with ample seating options. Coming to appetizers, there were 2 vegetarian and 2 non vegetarian options. Medu Vada was very crispy as well as Veg Pakoda. Veg corn soup was hot and tasty. In the main course, there were 4 vegetarian and 4 non vegetarian curries like Paneer Masala, Gutti Vankaya Masala, and Mixed Veg, which are very good in terms of taste and spiciness. There are other items like Veg pulao rice, Non vegetarian Biryani , Naan, paratha, pickles, tea, coffee, mango lassi, and deserts (Boondi Laddu, Gulab Jaamun, Halwa, etc.,) Posting pictures here for your review. The food was very tasty and we will visit again. Service is also good and staff is so polite.

We recently celebrated our daughter’s half saree function at Tikka Masala, and it was a wonderful experience. The hall available was just perfect for our gathering of around 50 people — clean, well-maintained, and hygienic. It offered a comfortable and intimate setting, ideal for family celebrations.

The food was absolutely delicious and received compliments from all our guests. The ambience added to the charm of the event, making it even more memorable. A special thanks to Mr. Satish Patha, the co-owner, for his exceptional support. He was incredibly helpful with the arrangements and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout the event.

Highly recommend this place for anyone planning small to medium-sized family functions. We truly had a great time!
