We had a lovely dining experience at TIKI TIKI, a waterfront restaurant with a relaxed, tropical atmosphere. The décor is casual and inviting, and the setting by the water really adds to the charm. One of the highlights is that boats can dock directly next to the restaurant deck, which gives the place a unique marina vibe and makes it especially enjoyable.
The food was mostly excellent. We had fresh raw oysters, a very flavorful seafood chowder, and the pasta with lobster was delicious, rich, and well prepared. The cocktails were also very good — refreshing and nicely balanced.
The only downside was the stone crab, which unfortunately was a bit overcooked and didn’t quite meet expectations (as in my food experience in Keys )compared to the rest of the meal.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience with quality ingredients, a beautiful waterfront setting, and a great atmosphere. With a bit more attention to cooking the seafood, this place could be outstanding.☺️
Food: we ordered a variety; the fish dip was a favorite. The wings were not my favorite flavor, do not order the lobster rolls, we unfortunately ordered 2, the lobster was so over cooked it could not be chewed. The fish and chips were good. The upside down pineapple cake was so good.
Service was fantastic!
Our drinks came out fast, and the food followed not long after. The chicken wings had great flavor without being overly salty, which can sometimes happen with Asian-inspired sauces. The kids’ chicken tenders were a generous portion and surprisingly flavorful. The grouper tacos could’ve used a touch more salt, but that was easily fixed at the table. The coconut shrimp were delicious—perfectly cooked with a dipping sauce that paired really well.
Overall, a great spot with solid service and tasty food. We’ll definitely be back!
Be mindful that once it started to get dark I could feel like bugs biting me since I was by the water. Other than that the bathrooms were clean and decorated with fun vintage photos.
Love this place, would come again.
Wr got a beer and waited outside. When we were called in we got an apology for the wait l.
Great service, great food! We had a waterside seat and loved it.
As I am a self proclaimed margarita conosour, they get a 4/5… a bit too sweet.
This sweet tea is pretty good and I ordered the Smoked Fish Dip, Key West Pasta, a side of coleslaw, and the Sticky Toffee Cake for dessert.
The smoked fish dip was good. I do think it had a little too much jalapeño that was overpowering the smoked fish. Maybe less jalapeño and add a hint of lemon or lime. I squeezed some lime for my tea and it was great. The coleslaw had a really good flavor and texture, but a little dry. I like my slaw a little wetter.
The Key West Pasta was fabulous! The linguine was perfectly cooked and so were the shrimp. The sauce was extremely flavorful, almost like an Italian tomato-vodka sauce. The crispy, crunchy toasted bread was a perfect match.
The Sticky Toffee Cake was really buttery rich and flavorful but mine was a tad on the dry side. Still a great finish to the meal.
The waterside tables and atmosphere was inviting and super relaxing. At least 6-7 boats honked their horns as their passengers waved at the dock side guests. One boat even docked at the restaurant and those aboard came into the restaurant to dine.
The staff was very friendly and attentive too.
Food is very decent and priced well, mostly under $40 averaging around $20-$30 a plate.
Salmon was very well cooked, but the rice pared with it was bland
Shrimp pasta was nice but a little too heavy on the sauce, if they would have lightened up the sauce a bit, it would have been much better
The key lime was a 6 out of 10, I bit sour and I never had it in a cup not a brilliant move
The chocolate cake was a tad rich for me, but my party liked it.
Andrew was a great server
