HANDS DOWN, SOME OF THE BEST TACOS to his East Los Angeles, infact All of los angeles. I had the carne asada burrito and a adobada taco, perfect.
Not sure what they marinated these meats in, but omg, absolutely fire. Their salsa, deep smokey, with just the right heat, grand slam! Every single bite was outstanding, and super satisfying. The trip from Orange County was well worth it.
You will not disappoint.
Had there been a cold Modelo on the table…..for get about it.

Roberto was my server during my first visit, and he was incredibly warm, welcoming, and kind—he really made the experience special. The food was so delicious! The tacos are made with homemade tortillas, and the meats are fresh and perfectly charred. I ordered the adobada vampiros, lengua, and asada tacos, and none of them were greasy at all. Everything felt light, and I didn’t feel heavy afterward. The adobada vampiro was especially amazing, topped with a fresh slice of pineapple that paired perfectly with the flavors. I also had the horchata, which was perfectly sweet without being overpowering. I can’t wait to come back! ✨

I can’t actually grade the atmosphere. I went in for a yake out order. With that said, this was my first visit. I read or heard a good review and thought I would give it a try. I got back to work and I was so looking forward to my meal. It had been a stressful day and what better way to face the next 5 hours but with a good meal. I will never go back here. The tostad was 2 hard shell tortillas. No beans, no lettuce, no tomatoes, nothing. Silly to post tostadas on the menu board. They should change that to hard shell tacos. Lesson learned. Please do not make the mistake I made. Save yourself and your pocket and drive the extra 10 minutes to Taco Bell and order there. PS: Taco Bell is not my favorite but that food is still better than what I got for my $20.00. If you had this location on your list of places to visit, you can now cross it off. Your welcome.

Went on a Wednesday night, the restaurant was very clean and plenty of seating. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was my first time here so of course I had to try their adobada (al pastor). Overall it was pretty tasty. I can’t review the asada well bc its not my go-to taco… but the star was the taco de lengua (tongue)
Recommended by our server, I decided to give it a try and it was super delicious! I suggest you stop by and give it a try too!

Drove for 40 minutes to visit this Taco restaurant., soon as I walked in I got hit by the delicious aroma of the meats being cooked and by the sound of Cumbias sonideras in the kitchen., I ordered 5 Suadero and 1 lengua tacos con todo…

My only regret was not asking for the salsa on the side, IT WAS HOTTT!!!

I still was able to finish my food and drive to my hotel with la panza llena y el corazon contento…

I’ll visit them again to try the other items on the menu…

It breaks my heart to ever write bad reviews on restaurants. But today was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Atmosphere was nice . Friendly service and people but the food is not it . To have Tj in the name of the restaurant is not it . Tortillas weren’t even cooked properly adobada was dry, the asada had silver skin on. Meat was hard, had some chunks that weren’t even edible . I didn’t even finish my adobada taco because I got grossed out . I’ve had better way better tacos in TJ. And for this to be my first time at this establishment . Just makes me sad . Maybe I had high expectations for this place and they didn’t meet those expectations. To pay almost 35 for a taco , burrito and a mulita . It’s just crazy. I would have not minded if this meal was $60 but I expect it to be damn good . For what I paid and over all the experience of the food I would have waited and gone to Tacos Al Carbon down the street at night. I really hope . And wish nothing but the best for this establishment but . Have more quality control of what you serve to your customers. Mind you they were not busy at all only had 1 person ahead of me .

Over rated. One taco de suadero, one burro de adobada (al pastor), and a coke. Over $26. The guy asked if I wanted everything on it. I said yes. Apparently everything does not come with guacamole like in the Instagram post. The taco came with cilantro and onions and a side of salsa. The meat suadero suppose to be cooked with a hint of lime. The taco was a fail, King Taco has them beat. The burro was a burrito. Yes no rice, that’s the way I like it, but there was more beans than meat. Oh, and the burrito did not come with salsa. As a Mexican, I love eating with a lot of hot chile/salsa. I thought they would have a salsa bar to serve yourself. Nada! I had to ask for it. Then I noticed on the menu the Extras: Guacamole $2.75 and salsa $2.25. The girl was nice and didn’t charge me the $2.25. Usually if they ask if I want guac (Usually a dollar) I say yes. But for $2.75! Please! BUT THIS IS THE BEST PART! You order at the table and they charge/ask for tip when you ask for the check. If you are looking for a casual place to order tacos and leave, this is not the place for you. If you want to be seated at the table to be served on and be disappointed. They are waiting for you. They have plenty of tables opened. The short lines should have been a hint not to enter. Darn Instagram got me again.
