My family and I stopped at Tijuana tacos for a Sabbath lunch. They were very nice. The food was at great temperature and the taste was flawless. My husband asked for the grilled chicken and the portions were huge. I had one of the best thonge burritos that I had since moving from California, and my daughter had a grilled chicken torta that she also enjoyed. The place isn’t fancy but the food is great. Also, I have stomach issues and it did not affect me, therefore, we will come back

This place is a sleeper! The overall vibe from the inside and outside and the food reminds of San Diego/Tijuana Mexican food which I haven’t had in years. You can taste the authenticity of the food. Hands down the best Mexican food so far in Maryland. Will definitely make sure I stop in again when I’m in town.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews as it can harm someone’s business however this was not good Mexican food at all. While the cuisine may be authentic, the carnitas tacos were so DRY to the point that it was inedible. I ordered their trio of carnitas tacos and after the second one I had to discard the food. It was extremely hard, dry and overcooked. In addition the ratio of tortilla to meat is off. The meat wasn’t moist at all.
This was second visit to Tijuana Taco as I wanted to give them another chance. My first visit I ordered the Al Pastor tacos. Average. Nothing special about it. While I wanted to give them another chance, this unfortunately will be my last visit.

Love this place. I don’t know what authentic is, but I know delicious. The food here is delicious. If you’re looking for a tasty, spicy, fast but quality meal, this is the place to go. Not surprisingly, the tacos are fantastic. Don’t be put off by the size of the place. It’s very small, but you’re going to get an excellent meal here.

Excellent tacos! I always get tres tacos de lengua con todo. Seasoned well, tasty. And get a Horchata! Good people, great food.
Tacos are consistently good. So awesome to have authentic simple ingredients Mexican food place in the area. Have been patronizing for years and will continue to.

A few weeks ago we stopped close to closing, so we got some takeout tacos and decided the menu looked promising.
The tacos were pretty good. The carne asada was lean, fairly tender and well seasoned….and the pork “al pastor” was tender and lean. The portions and salsas were A+.
Tonight we returned for dinner.
The place is small and reminiscent of those “hole in the wall” places we love so much. However, we did not love the food we ordered.
I had the “milanesa” (breaded beef cutlet). The portion was generous and looked appetizing but lacked flavor.
I always appreciate when a dish is served with rice and beans….here, they also included a grilled nopal (cactus), grilled pepper & grilled onion! Plus, a little salad (lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, radish).
The rice & beans were pretty good…but I would have preferred refried beans. (didn’t know to ask).
My husband ordered the tostadas. We were surprised that they use diced chicken (shredded would have been more authentic)…and avocado would have been a great topping.
Would not order the milanesa or tostadas again…but will likely come back for tacos!
PS The flan was very disappointing. It was NOT rich and creamy…more like the texture and consistency of gelatin (or something water-based).

Amazing, authentic food that doesn’t break the bank. I found this place a couple years back and it never disappoints. The tacos are super stuffed and the flavors are excellent.
Tonight, I mixed things up and got the tortilla soup and a torta. The soup hit the spot since it was a little chilly out and the sandwich was enormous! I had lunch for the next day!
Definite must try if you are in the area!

Good Lord, these tacos are so good! Very unassuming place from the outside but don’t be fooled, this place is legit. Great food and portion sizes. Fresh and delicious. Did I mention they’re friendly and that they keep their kitchen practically spotless? I only wish they had more space to dine-in.

A little sad I didn’t see fish tacos, but these roasted pork tacos are BOMB!! The pork is seasoned so well. I ordered 4 tacos, thinking 3 wouldn’t be enough…I was wrong! They are NOT share with the meat portions. And the sauces were such a nice addition to the tacos and I love how spicy the red was. I would definitely go back for lunch as it’s near my job.

I am one of the world’s biggest taco fans, to the point that I seek out new tacos to try in order to find the best ones. To this day, even after 4 years of searching, Tijuana Tacos still has the best tacos I have ever had in my life. I have even attended taco festivals with hundreds of options, and still, no one beats Tijuana. They will always have my heart and money until they close or I pass on, whichever comes first!
