I paid $20 for a micro burrito tonight, 2/25. The potato soft tacos at Taco Bell are bigger than this burrito. The receipt they gave me is bigger than the burrito this location scammed me with. My last banana of the week (that is already a considerably small banana!) is BIGGER THAN THE BURRITO. The diameter of the salsa lid is bigger than the burrito (that’s just crazy). I opened the box and screamed as I thought my eyes were deceiving me! Closed the box and prayed when I opened it again the other half of my burrito would magically be where it was supposed to be. It was not. No rice. No beans. No love. I worked many hours today (some may call it overtime, the grind or wage theft), placed my order for pickup and while it was being prepared proceeded to walk my dog who embodies the running spirit of a 76th generation Belgian Malinois. My appetite was built and I was looking forward to my pre-slumber meal. Instead, what I received was heartache and 3 bites of a burrito… for $20. I did not get the memo that Wednesdays are $20 Micro Burrito Wednesdays. I will not ask to speak to a manager or hope my email finds whoever well. I will however, be hiring an Etsy witch and chasing everyone that allowed this betrayal of a burrito to happen in their nightmares for the foreseeable future. Xoxo.

Me and My Best Friend wanted to Try this Place we never ate at a Tijuana Flats before it was Our 1st time trying and sad to Say Was Very Disappointed . From the very time we walked in there was noone at the front we waited there at the register and we saw a girl off to the side and then a guy came from the back and his Customer Service skills could use a bit of work .NOW REMEMBER this was Our 1st Time we didn’t know what to order and if any of the meals comes with Chips n queso or Salsa so I ordered a big chips n Queso and ordered flautas for me n my Girlfriend and it Would Have Been NICE OF THE CASHIER to have Told us That the Flautas came with chips n Queso so we didn’t have to waste Money a Usual Restaurant would have told us.And the Bathrooms were so disgusting not clean at all and my Girlfriend left there sick to her stomach she said she was not sure if the food was bad I also started feeling nausea myself once I got home Sad to say we WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN

I’ve been dining at this Tijuana Flats location for years and it’s always been a pleasant experience!! The food is always served hot and fresh!! Staff are very nice and helpful!! The decor is interesting and adds to the character of the restaurant. They have indoor table and booth seating. Also, there is outside seating as well!! Definitely recommend this location!!

For the first time in 5 years I went to a restaurant and ordered sweet tea and got actually good southern style sweet tea. Thank you to whoever made this sweet beautiful diabetes water. I needed that. Tacos were in point, blackened chicken was SO GOOD. We couldn’t complain if we wanted. Excellent experience.

Claudette is a total breath of fresh air. Her customer service skills are out of this world and her excitement and enthusiasm are contagious. I came in to the restaurant and she was literally doing a happy dance for a catering order that was going out. As I ordered, she greeted a regular by name. She didn’t take my order but when she came out to see if I needed anything, she asked me by name what else she could do to make my lunch better. She recognized the regular didn’t order the normal meal and made sure that it was made correctly.
For the food, my burrito was filled to the brim and made perfectly.
If I lived here, I’d come all the time. I own a small business in food service and this is the experience we strive to provide and I love seeing it and experiencing it!

We had a pretty amazing experience here with fast service and hot food. The food comes out quickly with the correct order. We were both able to enjoy our meals. The sauce bar had a good selection, but some of them were on their last pump. The employee was more interested in helping out his other employee. Spell tea on my hand. Was not our first server that helped us. Will go again.

Last night I grabbed some Tijuana Flats , this location was on Belcher rd and east Bay. I ordered a Blackened chicken Burrito with everything but lettuce. The burrito was good and comes with tortilla chips.. I just wanna say the Amazing service I got from Natalie!! That place was slammed. Natalie held it down like she was the owner. I would recommend giving this location a try.

I got a single soft shell beef taco with lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. My husband got nachos with beef. Both items wear just ok. The service was good. The ceiling in one part of the restaurant needed repairs. They did have it roped off.

What happened to this once great restaurant? When did they stop offering black bean and beef tacos without an up-charge?
I ordered beef with black bean tacos. That use to be a menu option. I paid over 15 dollars for two tacos because of the up- charge for black beans. I also added black beans and rice on the side. That no longer comes with a drink like it use to. The black beans and rice was all rice, barely any beans. The tacos were awful. The beef was burnt tasting and left a terrible after taste. The ratio of beans to beef was just a mess.
Let’s talk about the service. I was checked out by a manager. He informed me that they don’t offer black bean and beef tacos and acted as if they never did. I’m a former employee and know for a fact the did. He also seems ill informed on the rewards program.
To recap. The food was junk and way overpriced. Burnt beef. A ridiculous ratio of beans to been and beans to rice on the side. No drink without a further up-charge. Avoid this place at all costs. 18 dollars for two tacos and a tip is insane. I called the restaurant to complain about the quality and their response was to hang up the phone and do nothing about the terrible food.

Otto was very attentive and helpful when ordering he let me know about the 5.99 taco deal! Overall great experience just because of how nice and genuine Otto was it made my experience 100 times better. Thankyou Otto!
