That’s just how we roll. At our Hot Bar, you’re the boss of the sauce. Add a hint of heat, a touch of sweet, or douse your dish with a five-alarm fire. Our Hot Bar is loaded with an assortment of tangy, smoky, sweet, and spicy sauces. Tijuana Flats’ entrées include burritos, burrito bowls, chimichangas, dos tacos, flautas, fresh salads, nachos, and quesadillas. Guests have their choice of tortilla with flour and wheat, as well as hard and soft corn with tacos.

I’d honestly rather eat here than Taco Bell or Chipotle. They don’t skimp on the meat, the prices are reasonable, and I actually leave feeling full. I didn’t expect much interaction from the staff, but they were friendly and even checked in to see how the food was. Overall, a surprisingly good experience.

Stopped in before the dinner rush and got the Uno Taco meal deal with blackened chicken in a hard corn shell, plus chips. The shell was thick, crispy, and held up well. Chicken was soft but not very flavorful. Toppings were fresh, and the jalapeños gave it a nice kick. Also sampled a few of their hot sauces which was fun. The area was clean and service was quick and friendly.

Nachos were not fresh or delicious. Ordered my nachos 3 minutes away so that when I got there it would be fresh and cheese melted…picked up my order and cheese was solid as a rock, clearly stale and not freshly poured and covered over with some hot meat to make it seem like everything else was nicely melted. Didn’t enjoy it and tossed most of it. Won’t be back.

I went here for lunch and they messed up a small part of my order by giving me cilantro rice when I asked for mexican rice. I brought it up to John (I believe he’s the manager) and he promptly got us a new burrito along with a free refill of queso. This is how you run a business. Overall, great food and outstanding customer service. I will definitely come back here again.

Our first time here, & it was a GREAT choice! The food was awesome & the sauce bar…so many varieties! But the very best part of our visit was Miguel, the manager! He was so helpful describing the menu & he brought us a nice sample of chips & the most popular sauces/salsas! He went above & beyond the whole time we were there, the restaurant was very clean, and thanks to his amazing service…we will return very soon! Excellent experience!

I really liked this place it’s a great example of yummy Mexican foods.
It’s basic and part of chain so it’s an established brand the whole family can enjoy.
This particular branch has really friendly staff who are chatty and give great recommendations of the food selection.
It also caters heavily to students with Gainesville being a mainly student based town so there’s fun quizzes and student related activities for everyone to enjoy so make sure you check that out if your new in town.
My favourite and the star of the show for me was the hot sauce selection they have a number of local and other mixed hot sauces from all over with different brands tasting from very hot to mild.
I recommend the tacos as this what I had, the chips are also freshly made and taste great with the salsa.
Service dogs only and space to eat outside.

We stopped by for a quick lunch and ate outside in the sun. Service was great and we picked up a few bottles of their sauces as a little Christmas present for our son-in-law as he loves tacos!

On the SW side of Gainesville, love this restaurant chain. Food was really good, staff were friendly and attentive. Portions were fair some items better than others. The Shrimp bowl was delicious with a generous helping. The chalupa tasted great with a ok portion. As always love the selection of Hot Sauces, I had to try 7 of them. Also their Margarita was good too.
