Stopped in for lunch and they had a good selection of choices to pick from. I got the griot with sweet plantain and rice and peas. My husband likes all his food moist with sauce so we got some gravy from the chicken in sauce and it was so good. Good amount of heat in the sauce and the meat was fresh and not tough. The rice was fluffy and light and the plantains were a perfect match to the meat.
We also got 2 chicken patties and 2 beef patties and they were ok. The meat to pastry ratio is off so you end up eating more pastry than meat which is disappointing. The meat had great flavor but they should make it smaller so the meat stands out more. The dough was buttery and flaky and had a good bite.
Overall, it was a good experience. The customer service was a bit dry but polite.
I would definitely go back to try more things and would recommend this spot for authentic Haitian food.

I’m not from the area but as a lover of great Haitian Cuisine this place is great. I have made detours from dozens of miles away to come to this place. They people are friendly but I come for the food. They really know how to cook there. All the signature cultural dishes are done well. It’s not the nicest looking place, more of a hole in the wall but definitely worth the time, money, and effort to get some good ole haitian food. Keep it up people.

You know how when you were babysat by your friends mom with strong ethnic background, and she cooks dinner, and your like omg what is she cooking, and your afraid to eat it, but when you take your first bite its sooooo freaking good and you want to eat there everyday for the rest of your life? Well that is what this place reminds me of. I think its carribean food not sure but amazing. Tilapia, chicken in sauce, homemade mac and cheese but not american, buffet style to go worth every penny, two thumbs up, i will definantly be there again.

They catered my Father’s memorial. Everything was so delicious! My favorite was the patties of course! But the chicken, griot and rice was fabulous!

Went to grab a quick bit with the hubby. Brought the food home and the beans and rice was hard and our dessert had hair in it. So we won’t be going back!
