This place is awesome! I’ve been here twice already and I really enjoy their ramen. They have a vegetarian menu and their options are actually so delicious! Love their Paitan ramen, and my partner loves the chicken paitan. Their eggs are such a good addition and so is the spicy paste! 100% worth adding on if you enjoy a little kick with your broth. Their onigiri is also really good, but I think their filling to rice ratio needs some work. I didn’t have much filling and it would have been amazing if it had more. I felt like I was eating a lot of plain rice. It is a bit slow, but servers are so kind! They even gave us edamame on the house since it took a while for us to get our food.

Delicious little ramen spot at the edge of McKinney. The portions for their ramen & curry are perfectly sized for one person; no worries at all about overeating or dealing with leftovers. Their focus is clearly on quality over quantity—when I saw the flavorings/toppings on the menu for their onigiri and handrolls, I could clearly taste each one with every bite. Strongly recommend for smaller parties of 4 people and under.
My waitress was very attentive, and I loved seeing as the cooks assembled the food in front of you next to the counter seating. Overall, a neat, new, and cozy atmosphere for a ramen shop.

We don’t have much experience with Japanese food. The restaurant is small. We sat at the counter and I observed the food preparation. The food we had was tasty. Sorry don’t remember the names of the items we ate. The staff was friendly

This place feels like stepping into a cozy ramen shop in Japan! The broth is tasty and comforting without being heavy and the noodles are delicious.
What really surprised me was the onigiri. They are made and prepared fresh with care and there is a variety of flavors! It’s rare to find a spot that has both great ramen and rice dishes.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can tell it’s run with a lot of heart! If you’re looking for comforting and authentic Japanese food, this spot absolutely deserves your support! I will definitely be coming back!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, perfect for both family dinners and casual meetups with friends. Every dish came out hot, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavor. You can tell the kitchen uses quality ingredients and takes pride in consistency. The service was fast without feeling rushed, and the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu. This restaurant truly delivers great food, comfort, and value in one place.

Excellent! We walked in and were greeted with lovely service. The staff was tentative and kind. The ambiance truly resembled a ramen shop from Japan! The staff are Japanese as well. The overall experience felt like home.
Now to the good part… the food. What a cultivation of lovely traditional flavors. Onigiris tasted just like mom’s but with a special twist! The karaage was perfect and the yuzu sauce was the best!! The fish in the hand-rolls were fresh and the topping paired nicely. Ramen was a delight. The owner study traditional ramen technique in Japan.
I cannot recommend this place enough! I saw lots of take out orders too, so that is a nice option if you don’t want to dine-in.
**| do want to note that it can be a little bit difficult to get to but it is truly a hidden gem.

Absolutely fantastic chicken-based ramen! I ordered the lunch set with the mini paitan ramen and the onigiri of the day, tsukune onigiri. Both dishes were top notch. The paitan is very authentic, rich, and flavorful; better than most ramen I’ve had in Japan. There aren’t many places around DFW that put serious thought into their onigiri, but Tiger Ramen is definitely the exception, as the onigiri has a wonderful and unique combination of flavors.
Service is very quick, attentive and friendly as well. Overall, Tiger Ramen is now tied for my top two ramen places in all of DFW. I hope to return to this lovely family-owned business for many years to come.
