Was recommended to this place by a colleague of mine who claims, it is one of her favorite restaurants of all time. That’s quite a statement.
I finally checked it out on a lazy Saturday afternoon and hot damn and hallelujah! Everything about it was outstanding: location, staff, cleanliness and of course, the food!
Had three different dishes including Spring Rolls, Beef Cold Noodles and some beef curry. Until today, I had no idea that garlic bread is the missing link between curry and the epiphany.
I’ll be back, as it was that good, and will be curious to see just how much of a drop off my next Vietnamese meal will be by comparison.

The best restaurant I have tried in China. I will come back for sure. Great service too and amazing quality prize balance. Very easy to order for foreigners everything has photos and English descriptions.

Came slightly after 11am and had lunch here. After 12pm, the crowd were coming and might need queue.
Foods were great, didn’t expect portion was big though. So far the one we ordered none disappointed us, all were satifying. Pho is recommended to order. The pork was also great.

I haven’t been back to this place in over 8 years since I live in the US. Everything was delicious, the prawns, curry and especially the lettuce wrap appetizers. I would definitely recommend coming back with friends and family again. I miss this place since I am back in the US, just wish Tiger Prawn would expand in the US too :).

This is namely the most happening Vietnamese restaurant in Guangzhou. I was very curious so I made the trip out there to Yuexiu’s busy dining district. It was 5:30 pm on a weekday and there were crowds there waiting in line. When I looked at the menu I found it slightly overwhelming, as it does present many kinds of cuisine including Thai and Chinese. I wanted Vietnamese so I ordered Vietnamese spring roll, lemongrass eel and a wok fried veggie. The spring rolls were the most disappointing because it was very much over-fried. However the generous provision of perilla leaves and mint was a saving grace. It didn’t turn out too badly when I wrapped everything into my mouth. The fried veggies was very good, and the lemongrass eel was also very flavourful. Too much food for one so I packed some home. The interior of the restaurant is also cool. They do expect you to return the table in 1.5 hours, but that is fair.

Is a must try restaurant. Price is reasonable and foods quality top notch. Portion is big and many varieties of choices. Try to come early just b4 lunch or dinner to avoid waiting for too long.

Been here 3 days in a row so far! I am visiting from Canada and was craving Vietnamese. This place is quite foreigner friendly as most of the staff can help you in slight English, I have been struggling with language while here so I did not expect the staff to know a bit of English in communicating when ordering. Food is so delicious I am trying to work my way through the menu. My must tries are the coconut crab, pan fried pomfret, salt and pepper shrimp, tom yum and pho (long list because too many hits)!

Very crowded, recommended to book a day before via phone, the number is correct on google maps. Even if you booked ahead, you will need to wait around 15-20mins.
The dishes are excellent, especially the spring rolls, mango salad, cold white chicken and the shrimp dish. Unfortunately, pad see ew not recommended at all. Still, service is good and the foods came out in time.

The broth in both soups we ordered were weak flavored water. The shrimp tasted old and the pork was loaded with gristle and tough. The steak rolls were served cold and might have been made days or a week prior. The place was very dirty. The bathroom was so disgusting and if I went to the bathroom first, I would have immediately left. This is obviously a tourist trap and given a high rating by people with no idea what good fresh food is supposed to taste like!
