This restaurant had popped up on my feed on Facebook, I am always looking for places that serve pork tenderloins ! My favorite sandwich and not very many places can make a good PT ! We were doing some shopping in ST Joe and decided to stop in and give this place a try. They were busy but we wanted to try it and it was worth the wait!!! We had the Pork Tenderloin I had onion rings my hubby had it with fries ! They Did not disappoint from the rings to the fries and wow best tenderloin sandwich I have had ! I have tried a lot of places! The tenderloin was huge, thickness on spot , the seasoning perfectly balanced not over powering just tasty! Go try this place! So good!!

My ding on atmosphere was due to it’s not handicap friendly. When you walk in there is a high top with stool seating or stool seating at the countertop. To get a “normal” table and chairs you have to walk up a step, then another and maybe another. That is the reason for the low review.
We were there during lunch on the 3rd day of being open. Of course it was packed. We had to wait a few minutes before getting a table.
Review of food-
We waited over an hour to receive our food so that was very frustrating but giving them a chance.
My husband ordered one thing but got something else but it was still a tenderloin. So based on classic tenderloin with fries- It was decent. It was a thick tenderloin and breaded well but lacked seasoning. Fries were good.
I had a spicy cowboy burger and fries. Burger was cooked well. Definitely not a food service patty so it was nice to get some real hamburger. Meat itself needed things to go along with it to give it flavor though. Again, fries were good. Better than crinkle cut ones in my opinion.
Service, again with it being the 3rd day open, it was acceptable.
I may go give something else a try.

Overall experience 10/10. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and the service/staff were nice and wonderful! Our server Lazion was very sweet and checked on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. Would definitely recommend this diner to anyone wanting an affordable and all around great breakfast experience. Can’t wait to try the lunch next time I visit!

But that’s about it. It’s not handicap or wheelchair friendly. We received our food and it was lukewarm warm, we didn’t get napkins and there were none at the table. I got a chicken fried steak and i didn’t get a knife with it and i couldn’t cut it. There was a small piece of plastic underneath my eggs. My husbands food was just not very good. I was excited about a new local place. It was disappointing.

We were greeted by staff and seated. Hostes got our drinks. Table was clean and floors clean. I had the Reuben. Tasted great. Fries are crunchy. My husband had the chicken tenders very meaty. Garlic sauce was great. Owner came by to check on us. The pies looked great but we were full. I would recommend this restaurant. They have daily special. Enough food for your buck.

Shared a large tenderloin sandwich and fries with my friend. It was large enough to fill both of us up. The tenderloin was the best I’ve had for a long time, nice and crispy and no gristle. Then we shared a delicious, moist chocolate cake with chocolate icing. I’ve not had anything else there, but those things were delicious. The staff was friendly and courteous. I’m definitely anxious to go back and try other meals.

The waitress was great. Really good customer service, but the food was terrible. Waffle was not cooked. Eggs were watery, like literally there was water on the plate. It’s hard to find good gravy, and this place did not have the good stuff. The only thing that was OK, was the pancake, but if I’m being honest that was also not the best.
We’ve always had great food experiences in St.Joe, but this place broke that record.

Mama Bear Miller
The staff was very attentive, friendly and patient with our group of 8. They are new and still working out the bugs. We didn’t mind the wait for food as it gave us time to catch up and visit but really it was well worth the wait. The food was awesome. Felt like I was in my Mama’s kitchen. Give these ladies a chance, be patient and enjoy your food. You won’t be disappointed.

Food and service were both amazing. Me and my fiance both got the tenderloin and They have the best tenderloin in st Joe in my opinion and it is Big! Highly, highly recommend giving these folks a try. We will definitely be back again.
