This Tierra Mia location is super close to my work so I always take the drive thru. Unfortunately the wait is always long and the parking/location area is horrible. Hard to drive in and out on such a busy intersection, with a super tiny lot. However, the horchata drinks that I get are very consistent and delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness in the lattes and frappes. I like the churro muffin as well. Quality is great for to-go, just the wait time can be long.

I’ve been going here for a very long time. Their coffee is extremely good. My go to is their horchata frap and gosh is it heavenly. I’ve had all 3 of their tres leches muffins and they are so good . I normally go through the drive through, it can get pretty busy depending on the time of day but I will say I haven’t had coffee this good in a very long time. It definitely beats the “competition” without question. I’ve never gone inside so I can’t really tell you on how the atmosphere is but it is on a fairly busy corner. Highly recommended regardless of that and well worth the wait if it’s busy.

Such a cute coffee shop. Chai latte was pretty good! Perfect amount of cinnamon for me. They have indoors and outdoors seating so it’s nice. It is a bit of a wait but I’d come back. Their pastries and muffins are delicious! They’ll ask if you want it warm too! Such nice customer service.

Walked in early morning there was one guy sitting down only … waited over 15 minutes to get my drink and bread… girls don’t attend you .. everyone that walked in after me kept waiting as well when there was 3 girls no one took the decency to greet or help until the person would speak up… they can see the people but don’t ask what’s needed … horrible customer service overall…

The drinks are delicious, some of the best in the area. However, the interior and service needs work to say the least.
It’s dark, compact, and is in desperate need of a cleaning. Oh and the smell. Maybe I was just unfortunate that night but it wreaked of a public bathroom. The smell was so unbearable I became lightheaded.
The service was mediocre. When me and my girlfriend walked in, the workers each looked at us walk in, let out a big sigh, and dropped their heads. I’ve been a barista all my life and I know just how you feel but that is no way to react to business.
The drink, a strawberry frappe, was very enjoyable but I think next time I’ll be making my way through their drive thru instead.

got the cubano and it wasn’t my favorite but i like that they have a lot of options and even some savory meals along with their pastries.
staff were nice and the inside and outside is kept pretty clean, nice lighting and they have wifi! but it’s really cold inside, and parking lot was slightly confusing if the one right next to it is full.

Staff was super helpful! Really friendly and patient with my ordering process. The iced horchata latte is really delicious. The parking area is a bit small and hard to navigate but definitely perfect for someone who lives in El Monte. They make excellent use of the space! It’s well designed and beautifully done. Really happy to have a good coffee spot to hang out with friends. Drinks are well balanced. The staff is friendly. Definitely holds up to the standard of Tierra Mia.
