I stopped by this Salvadoran store/restaurant, and I have to say, it’s the best thing ever. As soon as I walked in, I was overwhelmed—in the best way possible—because there were so many Salvadoran goodies to choose from. They had everything from candies and snacks to medicines and authentic Salvadoran products. The selection was seriously impressive.

Best authentic Salvadorian restaurant in town! Such a hidden gem and glad found it, highly recommend it. Their pupusas bring back memories of when I visited El Salvador and this time I tried their delicious mariscada (juicy creamy seafood soup with crab and shrimp) it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth! Very friendly and nice people.. just like home!!

Food was good although the salsa verde was basically just water? And the queso fresco was hard and smelled like it went bad our mesera had a nasty attitude and was extremely rude would come here again just would not have her as a server

I received very poor service during my visit. The food was burnt, and when I raised my concern, Sayma, who works there, only argued back instead of addressing the issue. This was disappointing and unprofessional.

The pupusas are very cheesy and always hot which is good but in my opinion a little MORE chicharron would be useful and would go a long way. I ordered 2 pupusas mixed and I got 2 ice creams it was 14 dollars . I rated 3 stars because it seems a bit ridiculous for 2 pupusas and 2 ice creams . I opened the ice creams and they were already melted and had the yellowish sugar glaze all over them .my guess is they have been there from when the hurricane came by and got refrozen besides that the pupusas were ok .

Whether you dash your food or dine in, the food is absolutely delicious !!! My favorite are the pupusas (all of them, fajita, revuelta, been and cheese). The platano frito and frijoles with crema is also super tasty!! The ambience at Rio Lempa is like sitting at a little restaurant in El Salvador with all of the Salvadorean brands and items. The drinks are also little taste of El Salvador with traditional aguas. Love this place! Everyone that I’ve ordered pupusas for, loves them too, and get turned onto their food. Definitely try it out! You will be amazed.
