Clean, fast and friendly service. Generous portion sizes (the pancakes are massive). We did breakfast, I got a half order of biscuits and gravy and it was satisfying, I find not a lot of places do biscuits and gravy right, especially with the gravy it’s usually peppered beyond recognition and is too thick and you can taste the flour, but not here. Eggs are cooked correctly as ordered (we had over medium, over hard and over easy). Not a bad place at all!

We first tried another restaurant in town where the vibe matched its name, but then we came to Tie Breaker and received a genuinely warm welcome. The breakfast was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. This will definitely be our new favorite spot along the coast!

The atmosphere had a mostly sports bar vibe. Tons of games on, clean and the customer base seemed friendly. It took awhile to get a beer and order food. After the food came I would have to say it was mediocre at best, the fish was extremely greasy, had soft uncooked batter on the inside, the fries were done well but the Mac sald that was included instead of coleslaw had 0 flavor. This may be a place to have a couple drinks and watch the game but if you’re looking for authentic fish and chips at the coast I’d say 100% skip this place.

Laid back bar / grill. Very relaxed, beach style!! Welcomed warmly and drinks were served quickly. Got the calamari and shrimp cocktail – cocktail sauce is DELICIOUS. Calamari was crispy and so dang good. Friendly wait staff and great food and drinks. Wasn’t a wait at all when we were here, mid afternoon. Definitely recommend!

Great locally owned spot with a solid menu. We shared the chicken wings and the mini cheese burgers – both were delicious. Great spot to watch any and all sports. The staff were really friendly and the service was super fast.

The atmosphere was good for our kids. The service was slow and our server seemed frantic and impatient. Our server also tried to kick us out to make space for live music and take our food and drinks away while we were still eating and drinking. I had to tell her twice to that we were still enjoying our meal after she already had touched it and tried to take it away. The server for the actual food was great and should be the one interacting with the customers.

We eat at Tie Breaker quite a bit. We love to split the Prime Rib Dip sandwich with a side salad, and we like the Chicken-Chicken Fried Steak (split) for breakfast. The sausage gravy is great!! Service is always prompt, friendly, tables and restrooms are always spotless. Thank you Tie Breaker!

We decided to do an early friendgiving in Rockaway, what a great little town. Tie Breaker was our farewell breakfast. Our server, Asian lady with blonde hair was not friendly at all and very passive, the restaurant was not that busy when we got there and she was rushing everything like she did not want to be here. We had to get another server to ask about a plate we never got. He was great and him and the cook made up for her poor service. Food was great.

Stopped in here on a Friday night and it was so fun! The bartender was extremely welcoming and made the best spicy margarita! We ended up staying longer than we planned because the atmosphere was great. If we end up back in Rockaway we will be visiting again!
