My grandson and I loved the place! Our waiter was very nice, the right balance of checking in without hovering. Good was absolutely amazing!! Loved the nautical decor. We started calamari and I had a greek salad with salmon and my grandson had chicken sandwich with fries plus crab cakes. It’s a must!!!

Service was superb, the food was delicious, and the cocktails were awesome. One thing I appreciated was the speed at which courses came out. There’s nothing I hate more than getting appetizers at the same time as the main course, but this restaurant was on point. We had downtime between our apps, our salads, our main course, not enough to be annoying, but enough time so that you didn’t feel as if you were at a buffet. Would definitely eat here again. I highly recommend the strawberry-basil lemonade cocktail and the shrimp & scallops!

Decided to sit at the bar and get the specials. Order the calamari which was mostly breading and overcooked. Also ordered the fried oysters which were amazingly small and overcooked as well. I guess we should have sat in the dining area as those meals look much better than the ones we got. The drinks were cold. Service was fair as the bartender seemed to be overwhelmed. Not a very good experience.

The service was quick and everything was tasty. I wanted some Jerk Shrimp for appetizers, my husband order us 1lb. It was delicious but of course, I’m Jamaican, so I asked for a side of the Jerk rub to spice things up a little bit. This dish is served cold with horseradish and ranch on the side. For Entrees, my husband had Fish n Chips since he wasn’t that hungry but I was very hungry, since I’m eating for 3 lol, so I ordered The Sautéed Sea Bass with Seasonal roasted veggies and a Greek salad but to be honest the fish was either 6oz or 8oz and when I first saw the plate I was saying it was too small. The flavor was nice but I tossed some more of that Jerk rub on it and that made the Sea Bass even more tasty ( I recommend you try it). I kept a piece of the fish for later to make me a sandwich at home and saved space for desserts, we ordered the Strawberry Peach Cobbler with 2 scoops of Ice Cream. The crust was delicious but the filling wasn’t I kept biting the seeds of the puréed strawberries and it was too tangy for my liking. All in all, I do recommend Tidewater Grill and I will be going back until I’ve tried everything on their menu. Quick service, nice ambiance, servers looks neat and restaurant seems clean. I forgot our servers name but he was very efficient and courteous.

The restaurant was busy, people everywhere having a good time, talking and eating. Our server Brandon kept us informed and drinks full during our wait which eased a lot. The food was amazing I posted a surf and turf that was nothing less than magnificent! Brussels Sprouts that was to die for, delicious crab cakes with garlic mashed potatoes and last but not least the infamous jerk shrimp! At the end of our dinner our server Brandon boxed up our food how we liked and sent us great wishes on our way out. Being pulled a million different ways he still managed to make our little dinner a great night and it was greatly appreciated. Wonderful place will definitely be back soon!

First off let me say this restaurant was neat as a pin, well decorated and in compliance with the current social distancing guidelines.
We started off our meal with the Fried Oysters and the Lump Blue Crab Meat Balls (The Dijon mustard sauce was a great addition to both even though it was served with the Crab Meat Balls) both were fried to perfection and not overly battered so the flavors were accented instead of buried under the batter as with a lot of fried foods.
As for the entrees I ordered the Seafood Grill and my date got the Fettuccine St. Tropez. Everything in the Seafood Grill was delicious but the real star was the Swordfish. That was simply amazing and I would return the this establishment for that alone. The serving size of the Fettuccine was massive and we both could have been full just with that.
Their signature cocktails were a delightful addition to the experience (I could go for another Arabian martini right now lol) there was one they had with fresh basil in it that was palate pleasing as well.
The staff (Will, Brooke and Kevin) went out of their way to make our night out special and even recommended some local places for entertainment.

I was super impressed with this place! Went by myself while in town for work, and thoroughly enjoyed every part of my meal. They do everything 110%. The Sea Bass and Butter Cake were great! Even the bread was perfect.
