Great service, superb food! We came for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great spot over the water. I had the Oahu burger and the house made teriyaki sauce is delicious! Hubby loved his lobster Mac. We also really enjoyed the apple crisp. Nice clean bathroom and the ladies even had a view!

Great spot with an awesome atmosphere — busy in the best way. The food is amazing and very satisfying. The cod and halibut fish (no pics – it was gone really fast) and chips were both outstanding. Definitely a fun, delightful place to eat and one I’d happily go back to. The view is wonderful too.

Thank you our server who did a great job!

My fiancée loved the halibut and tartar sauce! My burger was pretty good but the bacon was very burnt and the burger was a tad dry. I did like the fries pretty well but not amazing. Seems almost like a local hangout and sports bar. The game was on and it was pretty loud. It was a cool place on the harbor but the environment wasn’t really my thing. As long as you know what to expect then you might be fine. Someone told us to eat here so we did. To be fair we travel the country so we’ve been to hundreds upon hundreds of restaurants so I’m a tad critical.

Tides is a long time favorite of ours when in the area. Busy place in downtown next to the marina. It has a tavern like feel inside and a very large deck outside. They offer local foods and craft beers on draft. There is also a full bar and a decent list of wines.

We ordered fish and chips one cod 4/5 and one halibut 5/5. Unfortunately, the halibut was ordered as a three piece, we received two, and waited for ever for the third.

Our server was nice enough, but seemed to be yelling at people. Not sure if she was hard of hearing or she thought we were.

Located right on the water, there are beautiful views if you sit in the restaurant. We prefer the bar so our backs were to the water but we enjoyed a nice walk down the dock of the marina after lunch. We ordered a pizza and really enjoyed it. Very busy for a Tuesday afternoon (people waiting in the lobby and outside for a table). Very efficient staff! Also, one of the nicest ladies rooms I’ve ever been in.

Went for a late lunch, sat outside, had a great view! Staff was pleasant, helpful and attentive. Lobster and corn chowder was fabulous and halibut fish and chips was a large portion took 1/2 home and delicious the next day! There was even a seal entertaining us!

Great dockside seafood restaurant in Gig Harbor. There is a varied menu with specials. The grilled halibut was especially good and this is the first restaurant I have ever been to that has Athletic non-alcohol beer on tap. The service was great and the restaurant was exceptionally clean and there is a good sized deck with outdoor seating. The only downside is that unlike many restaurants with outdoor deck seating, they are NOT pet-friendly.

First time trying Tides since the ownership change. The restaurant was really busy, which is great. When it was all said and done, it was terrible. Our server did his best to keep up, as he was busy. The food was bad. $37 for Fish n Chips. Seriously? Also had the fish tacos which were marginal at best. I have returned to this restaurant over the years hoping it will improve. It never does. I can not continue to pay ridiculous prices for such poor quality. Not going back.

A absolutely delicious spot to eat with amazing scenary, and food options. Additionally, the staff is very nice and accommodating as we had someone with gluten issues. So thank you for the staff for that specific accommodation.

Everything here was great but I must say that bread pudding is a standout and above average bread pudding! Highly recommend leaving room for it.

One of my favorite places in Gig Harbor to eat. Great selection of beers and the chowder is the best I have ever had (including my own). Fish and chips rock as well as the burgers. Abbey the bartender is an absolute sweetheart.
