Grant, our waiter was fantastic. The food was outstanding, and likely the best value food we’ve had all vacation (some would say pricey, but given how good it was, I say priced perfectly). Specialty cocktails were delicious. Dip was outrageous and my wife declared these the best crab cakes in a long time. Beautiful views of the ocean, spacious dining area made it feel we were dining alone. Quiet, romantic and delicious. While the website doesn’t indicate it, they do have a very decent kids menu as well. My son devoured his grilled cheese and said it was the best ever. I thought it was due to an atypical cheese/blend but the waiter confirmed it was just white American after all. Would definitely return if back in the area. Great job guys.

Beautiful establishment, very classy. Service was good. The menu selection wasn’t great! It really needs to be more broader. No ice for the water. Calamari very bland, no flavor. The crab dip was amazing. Just could be a bigger portion. It was decent but I don’t think I will be returning. The menu selection just isn’t that great!

Wonderful restaurant with a view of the ocean. Beautiful contemporary, pleasant decor. Very creative menu. Attentive staff. Artichoke and goat cheese dip was standing. Bread service very unique with pizza butter! Crab cakes are delicious with no visible filler. Very pleasant environment. Highly recommend!

I usually can’t recommend restaurants in hotels but this is well worth it. The shrimp and scallops grits was so good! I asked for the recipe but apparently it’s a secret. Our family went four for four with good dishes all around. Highly recommend this place for dinner! Also, if Dubai cake is still on the menu, you should get it.

We visited the Tide Room with close girlfriends for drinks. The ocean view was amazing! In OC, many views are of the bay so it was a nice change. The drinks were strong and delicious, however we did not order any food even though the menu sounds delicious! The restaurant was slightly difficult to find and seemed like it was oddly misplaced. It was beautifully decorated and had plenty of seating while waiting for a table. We will be back for drinks and the view.

We live locally and were desperate for a new restaurant. The Tide Room did not disappoint. Food, service and ambiance were all amazing. Fresh, upscale, with an amazing ocean view. Our server Cleo was both attentive and so much fun. We will definitely return.

Blown away by this restaurant! Absolutely stunning decor and view of the Ocean. The entire property underwent a renovation, and you truly do not feel like you’re in Ocean City. The food was absolutely amazing. We tried many of the apps, that were all equally delicious. For my meal, I did the black truffle crab carbonara and it was heavenly. The service was incredible, we had a wonderful evening. We will be coming back, highly recommend this place to locals and visitors.

Megan was incredible, it was her second day on the job and she absolutely killed at getting our order quickly and was even the first person to have friendly conversation with us while we waited for our table. The food was good, we were there for Valentines Day. I do wish that the crab dip appetizer was served with something other than chips since chips feel a little more “lunch-time.” It also took a long time for service at the bar (we were trying to get a beverage while waiting for our table to be ready since we were 20 minutes early to our dinner reservations). So to summarize, the food was pretty good, the waitress and hostess were great, and the atmosphere was beautiful. The downsides were the wait at the bar area, my mocktail was not very good, and they sent a lot of texts and phone calls to confirm we would be coming to our reservation (this is dinner, not a doctors appointment). They even sent a reminder text about our reservation 30 mins or so prior to the dinner. All in all, I’d go back!

What a great spot! Booked for our anniversary (and nice happy anniversary card awaiting on our table – nice touch) – and the dining room is beautiful! Bright, airy, with a bank of windows overlooking beach too – great setting for dinner. Menu was very good – mostly seafood, but meat/chicken options too. I got tandoori spiced salmon – really enjoyed. Also a side of sautéed spinach, which was among the best I’ve had. My wife got swordfish and cleaned her plate. Have to say for a restaurant that aspires to be higher end – prices were very reasonable. And our server, Grant, was the best – very attentive and friendly. The Tide Room is a real gem – classy spot with great food that won’t break the bank! Will be back. Bar area looks cool too – and they also have outside seating – ocean front!
