I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and was very pleased. The flavor was delicious and robust. The service was great. Came here with family from out of town and made good memories. I highly recommend.

I’ve come here for years and today was told the soup, which I was told in the past (witnessed by others) did not contain any meat prodict in fact has shrimp paste! I feel like I’ve been hood winked by them and warn anyone who is a vegan or vegetarian to be very skeptical and ask specific questiond of what they include in their food. On the menu it shows a vegan symbol but that doesn’t mean the item is vegan only that it can ne made that way!

We walked in to find a clean looking, peaceful restaurant. The menus were clean as were the tables. The booth seat was a little uncomfortable to me (back was too straight) so we opted to sit at a table. My only complaint was the floor was very sticky.

Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.
We ordered Thai coffee, crab wontons and vegetable rolls to start off with. The coffee was really good. Both appetizers were fresh and tasty. I didn’t care for the sauce that came with them. Edible, but pretty bland.

Peter and I opted to share a vegetable medley stir fry, with chicken, and my son ordered pad Thai with glass noodles. Nathan said his meal was wonderful. The medley was good, nothing special.

Overall it was a nice meal and a pleasant experience. Cost was about $20/per.

I read the rave reviews and they were pretty consistent. Nice ambiance, friendly and attentive staff, very clean ( do you ever notice a strange , off-putting stench when you open the doors to a restaurant and you’re greeted with the smell old, burnt grease or heavy bleach…those are immediate red flags to an operation with cleaningissues or worse, pests!), food that looked , smelled, and tasted delicious! Definitely, a must visit if you’re in Newport News!

Such a great Thai restaurant. I got drunken noodles witu tofu and some garden rolls in rice wraps. Both dishes were wonderful. The drunken noodles were the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. The service staff was very welcoming, attentive, and professional. The price was also very reasonable. The interior was decorated beautifully. There are several attractive paintings and a beautiful Buddha statue. If you’re a vegan, there are so many options here. Highly recommended.

From my prior experiences at other Thai restaurants within the Hampton Roads region, I was quite surprised by this one. I thought this one would be outstanding. Unfortunately, not so. I felt rushed as I was waiting on my guests to arrive who were stuck in traffic and the establishment was not halfway full at any point in the evening. The beverages were wonderful – Thai Tea, etc. The food was not quite what I expected. It was below what I expected. All of us ordered spicy Thai dishes and none of them were spicy or held any of the traditional heat. Actually a let down since all of the other Thai establishments I have been to are normally spicy and hot when you order a traditional spicy dish. You may want to say something, while ordering, to address your level of spicy/heat of the dish. All in all, an okay dining experience. Will stick with my normal Thai restaurants more than likely but a great place for a beginner on Thai food I suppose.

Highly recommend! Food is excellent and we have visited numerous times now. They let you tell them the level of heat you want and they prepare it that way. I have never had a bad dish or experience. Love the crab wontons!
