My partner and I decided to check out Tickling Korean Taste and we’re so glad we did! The food was absolutely amazing. I got the chicken katsu. It was super moist, perfectly seasoned, and just delicious all around. The portion sizes are great. I couldn’t even finish my meal and had to take the rest home (no complaints about leftovers though!).
What really made the experience even better was how friendly and welcoming the owner and staff were. You can tell they really care about what they do, and it shows in both the food and the atmosphere.
It’s 100% worth the money, and we’re already planning to come back again soon. If you haven’t tried it yet, definitely go. You won’t be disappointed!

When I tell you all I’ve never tasted something this good I mean it!!! Not only were the prices great the food was even better. We got two meals, a mild bone-in wings and a spicy Korean pork bowl. The wings were a great size crispy yet juicy in the middle. The pork was really tender and amazingly seasoned and prepared. Both the owner and the son were really friendly. I had the wonderful opportunity to talk to them both and got to learn how passionate they are about their food. I even got to learn that their beef and pork come from a local butcher. I will definitely be back and it’s more than worth my 45+ commute.

We just left this place, the food is great. I had the k-bbq beef combo with dumplings, this came in as a rice bowl with lettuce. Everything was so fresh and tasted great. The dumplings were fried they had so much filling amazing.

Wow, incredibly tasty food and a proprietor that takes great pride and care in their food and preparation. I was just hungry and popped in on a whim, didn’t even check reviews. Definitely deserving of all the 5* reviews, this place is a new favorite and can’t wait to bring my wife out to thrift shop at NLB and then enjoy some tasty Korean food. Huge menu too, Philly’s look good, wings, burgers, etc. Something for everyone. I know the Korean bowls are tasty though, definitely worth dropping in and giving them a try, you’ll enjoy it!

Me and my gf have been coming here since it was a wings and burgers. And it’s always been this guy and his dad running it, best customer service I have got in most of the places I’ve gone to eat! The younger guy just has an amazing and nice attitude every time I walk in there, and his dad, too. It may take a little, but definitely worth the wait. I wouldn’t blame them either; it’s just the two running the whole store. The food is amazing, too, and they are always honest about what they think about the food. If someone were to ask me my favorite place to go eat, this would be it. I even drive 30 minutes just to get there.

Came in for some wings with high expectations, the food went above and beyond! The taste was perfectly crafted and the cook was right on the money. Couldn’t have asked for better food, honestly.
The prices are notably affordable, especially relative to the Dawsonville area. I got a 15 pc wing, fry, drink, and celery for $19.00.
The owner was extremely caring and attentive, he even let me try 6 of their wing sauces before I ordered. He brought me out the Thai Chili on his own accord, which was a great decision, as it was the best one yet. It was very nice of him to bring me that without me asking, and I loved it!

First time customers after seeing great reviews on Google and left completely dumbfounded. We ordered a bowl and sandwich but were brought two bowls. After simply questioning the man who delivered our food (seemed to be the owner?) that we were given the wrong item he went and talked to the guy working the counter who came out HOT in front of the entire restaurant calling me a liar and insisting that this was my mistake. I simply said “The bowl is delicious, I’m fine with it.” Later the owner came back out with a side cucumber dish (flavor wasn’t great) and I told him “I didn’t appreciate being yelled at in front of the entire restaurant.” He apologized but out ran crazy guy from the counter screaming at us calling us liars and acting very erratic. He continued to escalate the scenario and kept bringing other customers into the debate if i ordered the sandwich or the bowl. This continued on for far too long and the owner was not able to keep him in the back to calm down. A truly bizarre experience and very unfortunate because we really enjoyed the food (even the bowl that I didn’t order) and I gave this same guy a good tip. What a waste! I do not think that we will ever return. If you want good food we recommend take out and check the bag before you leave! Customer service: ABYSMAL! Also want to note the health score.. 73.
