Stopped here on a road trip, and it was great. The brisket was moist, and not fatty. As Texans we’re picky about BBQ, and it can be extremely difficult to find good bbq outside Texas. The Tickled Pig is great. The pig skins were very fresh, and great with the mustard sauce. The Brunswick Stew was yummy. My husband was super pleased with the banana pudding and my peach cobbler was fresh, warm, and delicious. Great food, great service, and we’re already planning another stop the next time we’re in the area.

The food here is great! We’ve been twice and definitely plan on coming back. I’ve had the chicken and the pork. I prefer the pork, but both are good. I really enjoy the different sauces and recommend trying and using them all. Any of the sides are great. The Brunswick stew tastes like it should. Overall, I have no complaints about this place and really enjoy the food. It tastes fresh and is worth trying. If you want something sweet, check out the nutter butter banana pudding. It was great. My pictures show the smoked chicken plate and the banana pudding. All good!

I was disappointed. This place doesn’t meet the standards of a good southern BBQ place. I had pulled pork sandwich and it was just okay. The bun was small and low quality. There are better BBQ places out there.

So disappointed!!! The pulled pork is completely Dry, overcooked, and bland with no seasoning. And the banana pudding was not even a full container. Couldn’t even eat it!

The new Covington location opened this week and we are so excited! We now have a fantastic go-to spot for lunch. My mom had the brisket fries and they were amazing! I had the pulled pork, stew and slaw and let me tell you–I could have drank the stew by itself, it is THAT GOOD! The atmosphere was inviting and friendly, very clean, and everyone was just so nice. Will definitely be back and I’m telling everyone they have got to try it.

Not sure why such high reviews. Okay at best. I had the pork basket ($8.99) he had the brisket basket ($12.99). My pork was very, very dry and I could not eat it without a lot of BBQ sauce. He was underwhelmed by the brisket sandwich and it was very overpriced for what you received. They were small buns the meat was on and maybe 3-4 ounces of meat. You received a small bag of chip with each basket. I sure wish they had given us coleslaw instead. Now the pork skins was the best I’ve had in a restaurant but that alone only gives the restaurant 3 stars. We will not return as it was expensive for what we received and nothing to write home about.

Second time eating here and was delicious. Pork always juicy and tender. Stew and bbq beans were excellent. Son had ribs and said they was some of the best he has had!! Service was great and very friendly?? Will definitely be back.
