What an amazing old- school diner.. The food was Yummy & Delicious. Our server Lisa was incredible & attentive. She served the food quickly and was rely friendly & sweet. THE experience here was like eating at a close friend or family’s home. Highly recommend this Clifton spot and that wonderful server.

The menu is typical diner menu with breakfast lunch and dinner items served all day. We chose to have breakfast and it was excellent. The coffee was piping hot and frozen and chilled drinks were ice cold. We did have to ask for more coffee and waters versus having service anticipate our needs before we even knew we had them but that’s hardly a negative. The eggs, pancakes, hash, hash browns, meats, sauces and pastries and toasts were all exactly what you’d expect from a top notch breakfast. We found ourselves eating more of what we ordered than we should have because it was done so well. I assure you that their motto of “Eat Heavy” is what you’ll do on your own not something they’re telling you to do. If you want classic diner food this is it. The atmosphere needs an update. The lighting was too low and the vibe felt more cafeteria than fun diner but the food itself did not disappoint. Would easily recommend breakfast though can’t speak to the burgers or pastas or sandwiches which looked good.

Ok: chicken sandwich
Exactly what you’d expect from the diner, nothing was amazing but generally solid and the portions are generous. The chicken sandwich was a little lacking in flavor and also a bit dry.
The fries were hot and crispy and the gravy and cheese were nice additions. Though it did make certain fries a little soggy.

1) Veggie Wrap (can’t recall the exact name)
-It had a diverse range of healthy ingredients – sweet potato, beets, quinoa, spinach, hummus, and so on – but could use some more flavor.
-Was good overall, and one of the only vegan options available.
2) Lavender Matcha Latte w/ Oat Milk
-They were able to make both the latte and the lavender cold foam using oat milk, which was nice
-However, the drink itself tasted really bad, like something synthetic rather than a tea. Definitely would not recommend this one.

Prototypical diner food with nice interior decor. The burgers were typical thick cut diner (saltier side IMO) with fries. We got the spicy chicken wings which felt like it was sitting out for a while as it wasn’t hot (temperature wise) or crispy. The inside interior seems very modern and clean. There’s also a full bar with bar seating if you choose to dine solo.

I was attracted to this diner because I love 50s style American diners. It’s priced very reasonably, and Josh our server was great. The menu is standard US breakfast fare. Drip coffee was decent. A lot of parking and close to other shops. I got eggs, ham toast and it came with a side of hash for around $15.

This place is classic NJ diner status. Shiny chrome doors and paneling, cheery smiling wait staff and the smell of fresh brewed coffee. I haven’t been to NJ lately so I had to get my Taylor Ham fix. So I ordered the breakfast plate “The Mick Jagger”. It consists of a Taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich on a brioche bun with a side of disco fries (crispy fries covered in mozzarella cheese laying on a pool of gravy. Everything about this plate is perfect. I also had a side of corn beef hash and delicious coffee served in matching silver chalice. Ahhhh the Garden State.

Went with someone whose never been before. He got a Mick Jaggar amd I got a simple breakfast bowl. Amazing food, great service, and now we have plans.for a 4 hour road trip for breakfast regularly
