They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, and that is certainly true at Tic Toc. Under its plain exterior and quirky name you will find a top-notch fine-dining Italian restaurant. What a delightful surprise! The cheerful and efficient Sarah served the whole room with grace and a smile. My soup and salad was outstanding, and a visit from the new owner Victor a special treat. He gave a brief 80-year history of the establishment, and a clear vision for its present incarnation. Boone has a hidden gem!

excellent service from the hostess and wait staff, the gal that waited on us was perfectly present not overbearing. the bread and oil is very good. The owner walks out to check on the guest’s, it is a very nice touch for him to be present! I believe he also is the chef, and he is excellent at it. I’m always nurvious to order expensive cuts. But I tried the lamb chops 28.99 I believe. I ordered them rare and they were very good the risotto is also good. well worth the money spent!

Absolutely the best Italian cuisine! The tiramisu is to die for! Excellent customer service. The Wait staff are professional and personal. Victor makes sure to visit every table to assure you have everything you need. We are so lucky to have this restaurant in Boone.

One of their specials tonight was Sea Bass with vegetables. Plentiful and delicious! The fish was very tender while the vegetables each maintained their texture and were very flavorful in a delicate sauce. Superb flavors; will definitely order this again! Thank you for the experience!

Went there for the first time for my birthday. I wasn’t expecting a bar, but we decided to give it a chance. I wish we hadn’t. It was the worst thing ever. Our waitress was unhappy and rude. Never once came and asked us while we were eating if it was good or if we needed anything. At the beginning of the meal, we asked for something simple, she proceeded to go to a table of her friends and talk to them for about five minutes, then go to the kitchen and grab what we had asked for. My steak was over cooked and super chewy. Not worth the $15 I payed. I couldn’t even finish it, and I LOVE steak… Will NEVER go back!!!

Absolutely love the owner! He’s the nicest Italian fella ive ever met, and he truly cares about your experience and the food! It is expensive but well worth it! If you have not tried tic toc you are seriously missing out! Amazing food every time! Nice quiet setting for a romantic night out or bring the kids they love them as well!

It can get a little expensive but is definitely worth every penny. There are also some cheaper options if you don’t want to spend much. All the food we ordered was fantastic, and the service was great. The owner even came out to make sure it was good. The Linguine di Mare is excellent!

We love coming here. Not only is the food wonderful nut th staff is amazing and give great service. Great spot for a nice dinner out. The other is sonice and will definitely stop by to check on you. Combines all the best aspects of fine dining with small town Iowa hospitality.

This place is great. The store front could use a little update but don’t let it fool you. Hands down the best authentic Italian food I’ve ever eaten. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and willing to customize your dish however you like, even if it’s not on the menu.
