I ordered 4 steak tacos on corn tortillas. I asked about a taco dinner but they don’t have one, I was surprised by that. To add rice and beans is additional. My daughter had the kids quesadilla that came with a drink. She is a picky eater. I had to order a second quesadilla, so she really enjoyed the food.

The staff was friendly and great! The food was amazing. We ordered tacos of steak and fried shrimp, a torta Cubana. Its great to have found a real Mexican restaurant in Anna/Melissa. I will definitely be coming back, this place felt like home.

Came here for lunch with my boyfriend. He ordered the pozole and I had the menudo, and we each got a gordita as well.
The menudo was flavorful but the portion felt small for the price. Also, I’ve never been charged extra for hominy before, adding $1.50 or so for something that’s usually included is pretty wild.
The pozole was very tasty and my boyfriend really enjoyed it. My barbacoa gordita, on the other hand, was pretty bland. Without the hot sauce, it had almost no flavor. The al pastor gordita was much better seasoned and had more taste overall.

The cheese Gorditas are to die for!! I got the pork in salsa roja (it’s a smokey flavorful red sauce so yum!!) I also got street tacos with rice and beans. Everything was very fresh and homemade as a Mexican person myself. I approve of this place. It felt just like I was back home. New favorite Mexican spot!!

We are new to Melissa and wanted Mexican food. We decided to visit Tia’s. There not your traditional restaurant where you sit and order a combo plate. They have more of a fast food atmosphere but we ordered a few items and hub and i shared. The food was delicious. I don’t know what they do with take out (they had a lot of people coming in to grab food) but they bring these 2 sauces; light red and green. They were both delicious. The red was a little spicier but I enjoyed them both. Their guacamole was very fresh. The chips were OK, not warm but still tasty and the salsa was good. Overall, we will definitely be coming back. I did notice that they had a small bar area, so they do serve alcohol (if you’re interested.) You should definitely come visit, if you don’t eat in, definitely order it before you come home. They are on the correct side (right side on 121) for picking up.

I got there early for lunch. I’m glad I did, because right after I got my food, a line of 15 people formed.
I ordered three chicken tacos with rice and beans. They say the order numbers in Spanish, so you have to know what your number is and to listen for it.
My food came with a large bottle of hot and very delicious salsa. I wanted to take it home with me.
The tacos were very good, as was the rice and beans.
I will come back to try some different dishes. I would definitely recommend this place for Mexican food lovers.

I ordered the Quesabirria Tacos, which came with three tacos and cilantro/onions on the side. I added rice and beans separately since they weren’t included. I placed my order through DoorDash, and it did arrive fresh ! which is the reason for my 2-star rating. Unfortunately, the taste just wasn’t there. The rice and beans had an unpleasant, off flavor, and the consommé was completely bland. I couldn’t finish the meal and ended up throwing it away.
Maybe it was because I ordered about an hour before closing, but that’s really not an excuse for poor flavor. I chose this spot based on the high reviews and wanted to share my honest experience. I’m not trying to discourage anyone from trying it, it just didn’t meet my expectations in terms of taste and seasoning. I included the receipt from my order since I no longer have the food to show proof of purchase!
