If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food that is reasonably priced in a basic restaurant atmosphere this is a good place. We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. They serve ice cold Victoria beer in cold mugs. Accidentally ordered a large, but was able to drink it all. Good salsa and thick tortilla chips like you get in parts of Mexico. One of the red salsas was wicked hot, but tasty. I had delicious street tacos — two carnitas and one al carbon. Not able to finish, so took one home. Tons of tender meat, cilantro and onions with lime wedges. Corn tortillas held up pretty well. My husband had a HUGE shredded beef Chimichanga loaded with beans and rice. It was very good. Wasn’t a good experience. The Al pastor was overly seasoned, the chips lacked flavor, the marinara lacked flavor, the Diablo shrimp was too Diablo. The ride was good. Chicken was dry, steak taco was too tough, margaritas were too sweet/citrus, didn’t even finish them. Didn’t taste much like a margarita. Very much gas station vibes according to person who ate the Diablo shrimp.

Never had a bad meal here. The food is consistently great, with big portions and excellent value. The only small note is the chips could use a little more salt, but everything else more than makes up for it. We’ve brought many friends and family with us over time, and no one has ever complained. Always a solid choice!
