Walking in and and Country and Western music is playing and the place has so much life and vibe. Staff were super helpful and professional. Went for the craw fish, alligator bites, oysters and beer…..tasty cold beer. Prices were well priced. The staff were so helpful when I wanted to buy some stickers and merchandise at the end. A must visit place when in Port Authur.

The food and service were top notch. Out server, Abraham, was very attentive. He checked on us frequently, without being intrusive, ensuring that it was a great dining experience. The appetizers and main entrees were brought out quickly after ordering. I would recommend Tia Jaunits’s Fish Camp to anybody seeking some good food and a full belly! They also had a live band, that was nice treat on a Wednesday evening.

Had a family gathering of about 28 people there Saturday night, December 13, 2025. We had family from as far away as Phoenix that really wanted some good seafood, and you all did not disappoint! The service was excellent. The food was beyond compare, and the atmosphere was fun and friendly. Even with drinks, it was still VERY reasonable! And our servers, Albree and Crystal, just took such good care of us so we wanted to give Tia Juanita‘s and Albree and Crystal a great big shout out for making it such a special night! ❤️

Our waitress, Hope, was truly amazing. She is beautiful both inside and out — kind, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we sat down. She made sure everything was perfect and took great care of our table throughout the entire visit.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we hoped for. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the meals and the customer experience here.
We will definitely be back, and we hope to have Hope as our server again. Highly recommend Tia Juanita’s for great food and even better service!

Finally had the opportunity to go to Tia Juanita’s in Port Arthur last evening. We were seated quickly, offered watered promptly and given a chance to order. There is so very much to chose from so it took a while! . Once orders were made, it did take a few, but this was understood since the restaurant was full. We ordered the boudain balls which was really a treat. Our food came shortly after and my what a presentation. I ordered the Trio Tacos, blackened and they were amazing! My friends dishes were just as appealing. Although quite filled, we shared a bread pudding, my friend insisted. Pleasant evening, great food/service was enjoyed. The only issue was as the evening wore on the music was turned up quite a bit, which made it difficult to hear one another. Otherwise everything else was perfect…
