Once again they hit a homerun….this time during the busy lunch rush. Our server Rachel was so friendly and accommodating!!! From the appetizer to the dessert everything was delicious! The boudin quesadillas are phenomenal and the bread pudding is a huge potion and possibly the best in town!!! Stop in and ask for Rachel, you will not be disappointed!!!

After much research, I ordered the large gumbo from here last night, ensuring myself that the 4.8 stars they have on google guaranteed me satisfaction. Their large gumbo was supposed to be 32 oz. I had been working on my house all day and needed a good, fairly quick supper. I called the order in around 6:25 pm, and scheduled the pick up time for 7 pm. I arrived at 6:55 with my chihuahua and an appetite. Food wasn’t ready, so I sat down at the bar. After waiting 30 more minutes, the food finally came out. The bill was 33$ for a large gumbo and chips with queso. I tipped 5$ on top of that even though I waited a half hour. I got home, opened up my long awaited for prize, only to find a cup of broth with maybe 5 sausage slices and not even one piece of chicken I could spoon. So I drank the broth over rice and went to bed hungry. Definitely will not be recommending or eating here again. It’s a sad day in America when a working man can’t even get a supper for himself anymore with 38$.

From the moment I entered the restaurant I was greeted with friendly faces and good vibes. The live music was a nice treat too! The bartender learned it was my first time there and was patient while I browsed the menu. The Sunday brunch menu was excellent and I’m excited to return to try their regular menu. The owner, Colt, also greeted me and checked on the service. He sent out an amazing sweet banana treat to welcome me for my first visit! I’m looking forward to making this my new favorite stop!

My wife and I took a small 2-day vacation to Lake Charles, and this place was AMAZING. We stopped in for lunch on our first day and ordered a creamy shrimp bread bowl. The vibes were awesome, the staff was wonderful, and the food was incredible. It was so good that when we needed to figure out what our lunch would be on our way back home, we chose the same thing. I could not recommend this place more. Outstanding!!

We are from Houston and we saw all the great reviews for this spot so we decided to try it out. The food was delicious, the chips with queso was actually worth trying even the delicious hush puppies. Our po boys were delicious as well. The only downside we had were the seatings which didn’t have any cushions and looked as if they would break with pressure. The restrooms for both women’s and men’s need a lot of work it seems as if it’s been months or years since someone has cleaned them. Other than that this place was a good choice to try.

Went with my daughter to celebrate her 21st birthday. We had drinks and ate a bunch of appetizers for our meal: 1 perfect matgarita, 1 large frozen house raspberry margarita, shrimp queso bread bowl, trio of dips, and cucumbers.
Our server was attentive and witty, cutting it up with my daughter and making it a memorable evening. The food was timely and hot, flavorful and good portions, as usual. The drinks were on point. The only two qualms I had was that the bathroom was very messy and the cucumber salad was lacking any oomph, came with too small a ranch for dipping, and seemed rather pricey for what we received.
Overall, we loved our visit and will be back.

We had dinner at Tia Juanita’s for the first time tonight and we will definitely be back! Sky was our server and she was fantastic! Taylor made our old fashioned and they were truly one of the best drinks we’ve ever had! Highly recommend!
