Devine. The perfect flavors and the atmosphere matched the wonderful artist that work for this location. As a food critic. I applaud the chef in person on Jan 3 after my protest
Bravo

An unforgettable experience!
The owner was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming — he truly made us feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious, exceptional in every way.
To top it off, every Wednesday they host a fantastic live jazz band that adds the perfect touch to the evening. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

So selected this place for my fiancé and my 3rd anniversary. We love Italian and jazz. Perfect medium lighting, amazing service, didn’t have to wait on anything other than our dinner of course. We are almost 3 years sober together but wanted to feel fancy with the wine glasses so they brought us wine glasses and a vase of water. The food was amazing but the portioning could be slightly more. Maybe we’re just used to places giving out way too much food but this was proper proportioning. Healthy size. We had bruschetta and oysters for appetizers and the raviolis in pesto and the salmon dish. They have live jazz music every Wednesday which was amazing! Was loud but not overwhelming. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Also you get 50% off parking around the corner if you show the parking tenet your receipt or reservation confirmation

The price of the food and quality of dishes DID NOT match. Paid $100 for a dozen oysters(too much shells and grit in all of them and for $40+ unacceptable), prosciutto benedict with 10 soggy country potatoes and 2 glasses of white wine. Not worth it. I’d keep looking elsewhere unfortunately.

The food was comforting and family-styled. The meatballs and shakshuka were tasty–I wasn’t too impressed with the light bites to start but I enjoyed the zeppole and pancakes. The zeppole was crispy and not oily at all, and the pancakes were really rich and fluffy.

They have the best carpaccio in the bay area, the pizza is top notch. The ceasar salad was frankly, pathetic. I had a cocktail that was very good. I am not trying to roast them but, the waiter took away my partners plate while they were still eating, the restaurant smelled funny, and it was a little off putting that they cleaned the table while we were still sitting( it was not busy and no one had any reason to rush).

Ok so this place has amazing atmosphere. The vibe the look it is amazing. I was able to sit at the bar and enjoy live music by an older couple who were killing it.
The stay was friendly and somewhat attentive. It wasn’t busy so the bartender was doubling up and handling tables as well.
I started with an appetizer brussels sprouts and they were terrible. Not properly prepared half were cooked the other weren’t. No seasoning and no Gorgonzola cream sauce. Didn’t attempt a main course just cashed out and left it as is.
Bottom line go at you own risk. This place may have been having a bad night who knows.

On Polk St. you will find many places to eat, Ti Piacera is one of the ones you should know, the food has an excellent taste and the drinks are very good, the atmosphere is cozy and romantic, the waiter was very patient since my English is not perfect so a waiter also served us in Spanish, very friendly. Excellent service.

Had 2 orders of the Bruschetta with Burrata. My son had Linguine Carbonara. We shared a Calamari that was appetizer size. Each order of the Bruschetta had two small crostini’s with a small amount of Burrata. My son said the Linguine Carbonara was okay, but nothing special. We both had tap water to drink. The food tasted okay, but in my opinion, the quantity is too small to justify a total bill of $76.00 before tip. $26 for 4 Crostini’s with a small bit of Burrata cheese that probably cost the restaurant $4.00 max is silly. Am I missing something when looking at the other reviews? I will admit I don’t eat out a restaurants much anymore. Don’t want to be too hard on this restaurant, but you need to give someone a reason to want to come back. Waiter was nice and pleasant.
