I went here for my lunch break and the service was so friendly and quick. She gave us a free sample of lentil soup which tasted absolutely amazing! I will be coming back for that. I ordered the beef shawarma and i don’t think I have tasted a better beef shawarma in my life, so yummy. Will be telling everyone at my office to go grab lunch from here!

This place doesn’t just serve food, it serves vibes. Think Lebanese Street food meets Motor City swagger. You walk up to this beautiful food truck, and boom: the smell of sizzling shawarma hits you like a hug from your Teta (grandma) and a slap from a garlic clove. Emem was so sweet, she offered us free samples of shawarma to try before purchase. The Chicken Shawarma was Tender, juicy, and wrapped tighter than your favorite Lions jersey on game day. The garlic spread was delish. The pickles were crunchy little rebels. The lettuce was just there for moral support. We added black kalamata olives and it was a touchdown.
So, if you’re hungry, curious, or just need a reason to ditch your sad desk salad, Thyme Machine Detroit is your move. And if you’re lucky, your shawarma might just wink at you.
