Amazing bison meatloaf, if I could stop by weekly to indulge in this dish I would! Our waiter, Willow did a great job-He was hustling and was managing many tables. Service was a bit slow but we knew he was giving 110% He was very nice and personable even though he had a lot in his plate.

I was seated immediately. It was a slow start. I waited a long time before server come. My server was a handsome, kind, polite gentleman, with a good sense of humor. He called a glass of water, a shot of Pewaukee tap water.

The food is always cooked well and presented in a pleasing way. Waitstaff is polite and not overly attentive. The restaurant itself is huge, with high ceilings, so it sometimes feels a bit cold and/or cafeteria like – but it isn’t a big deal.

Great food, spirits, wait staff and rustic atmosphere. A few items they were out of – a specialty drink, and the bison meatballs – so no 5 stars. It happens! Food items though were great. I had Shrimp jambalaya- big bowl, good seasoning, comes with corn bread & side salad. Very good.

Went around 5:30pm on Sunday and the food was so tasty. It wasn’t busy and the service was good, the menu had a lot of options. It was hard to chose, picked the seafood Diablo & it had the perfect amount of spice.

This place has great atmosphere, and I wanted to love it, but both times my meal was only okay. I had the fried fish one time and a burger the second time. The baked potato soup is good. The service was very slow the second time. They have a very nice patio in the back, where we ate both times.

All other things being equal, quality service makes all of the difference. Jake certainly deserves praise for being warm and welcoming, and matching the energy of the table. We’ve hosted several events at Thunder Bay in the past, but this was just a family night out. The breakfast buffets are usually tremendous, but this time it was just a Saturday night salad bar with our entrees. As always it was very well done, with several protein options as well as various base salad options. There were also for soup options as well. Our party of 8 ranged from just salad bar and water, to burgers, and even prime rib and cocktails. Our bill was around $250 before tip. We will return again!

I can review from two visits, both of which were wonderful! Dinner with two friends was more food than we could eat. The Salmon Fresca and Seafood Fondue were the best we have found. The full slab of ribs gave me 3 meals. The sides were tasty and since it was Monday we had a 1/2 price bottle of wine. Our server Shannon did a great job and the evening was all we hoped for.
