Thunder Bay Grill has seriously stepped up their game! We used to come here every week but stopped after it went downhill. For our anniversary, we decided to give it another shot for the nostalgia—and it did NOT disappoint!
The food was incredible and Pam gave us top-notch service! I don’t even like cream cheese, but I tried the carrot cake because it looked good… and wow—hands down the best carrot cake I’ve ever eaten. The beef Wellington was spot on, the cowboy steak (I’ll call it that!) was cooked to perfection, and even the salad was delicious.
We also had a couple of Transfusion drinks and they were great, too. It was an all-around perfect anniversary dinner. Thunder Bay Grill, you won us back! Whatever changes you made—keep them coming. Amazing experience!

Really great steak and seafood (and more) restaurant. They allowed our 2 dogs to sit outside with us for dinner. I had filet medallions cooked medium, asparagus and mashed potatoes. My daughter had a spicy seafood pasta. We had some bread with olive oil before dinner. Everything was great except 1 of my filet medallions was very fatty/grissly and I couldn’t even cut it with a steak knife. The waitress ordered me another 1 to replace the bad one. The new one came out perfectly. We thought the food was very good other than that 1 issue but they fixed the problem. The manager also checked on us and made sure everything was OK. We didn’t get any money off or a free dessert or anything (I didn’t ask but wanted to mention that). I was happy with the fact they at least replaced the 1 bad filet. All in all we were very happy with our food and the atmosphere was nice and quiet outside.

well worth the drive. Was in Davenport anyway, and had been there once before, and they once again were superb. Our waitress, Tammy, was really good with timing. It was a Tuesday night, so very slow. My friend had a walleye that he said was fantastic. I had the beef where it comes in three smaller sizes and it was once again wonderful. The price for the evening was really reasonable, and because of that, we were able to tip our waitress a little extra well.

First off we came here as a reference from a coworker and it was not what we hoped for on date night. The bison burger came out cold and bland(seasoning not included I assume). Never had a burger this bad before. Apple bees would’ve done better. The mushrooms were not bad tasted fine again came out room temp. Overall the wait staffed checked on us a total of 3 times were rude and seemed not to understand the menu. We had to flag down other waiters to get the check. Once the waitress got to our table no how was the food just here’s the check and ran away to continue talking with co workers. Not impressed won’t be back. Waste of $50.

OMG I can’t say enough about this restaurant holy cow is the food good lol. I got the Chicken Pillardi and it was absolutely amazing. The flavor profile was phenomenal. My husband got a steak and absolutely loved it. He said it was super tender and flavorful. The bread they serve along with the tableside oil is very tasty. The bread is soft and savory.
We will definitely eat there again in the very near future. My next try will be having the Filet trio it looks so yummy

13 of us had reservations for an early Easter family supper. Hostess & waitress were both super nice. Not our first time here. Had a very nice time and the food was delicious. I ordered the Smoked Bisen Meatloaf, my wife had the Seafood Diablo and my father in law had the Bouillabaisse. We all really enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be back. My parents had the All you can eat Atlantic Cod. They really enjoyed it as well.

It had been a while since visiting Thunder Bay & so glad we did. It was a Saturday night and got there about 45 mins til closing time & sat at the bar for a couple drinks & dinner. The bartender was friendly & closer to closing time as we ordered another drink, she did not seem annoyed or rushed Us at all.
I opted for the Trio Medallions & they were delish, potatoes a little dry but I assumed it was the end of the night, so no need to complain. I would definitely order the meal again, and will absolutely return.

First time visit and will not be the last! Wonderful experience, exceptional beef wellington and medallion trio entrees! We were lucky enough to get Becky as our server, and she was an absolute delight! Driven past this place for years – definitely should’ve stopped sooner!

Great food at very reasonable pricing. This is the first time I have been here, and the food was fresh and excellent tasting. So often anymore when you stop to get a quick bite to eat, they rush things to you that weren’t prepared fresh, but this place did it right. Fresh fries that were actually cooked in oil, unlike some other places that seem like they bake their fries, which kills the experience for me. The Reuben sandwich was hot, and everything tasted fresh with marble rye bread that was cooked perfectly. I really have no negatives to say about this place and will have return visits in the future.

Delicious food and great service. The atmosphere of this place is very cozy and comfortable. The food is served quickly, hot and fresh. The service is amazing and the waiter/waitresses are always very helpful. They have so many good options to choose from on the menu i’m sure you can find something you like. The prices aren’t too bad either for what you get. Definitely very high quality food and it’s always delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough.
