We had a Christmas Party here recently on a Saturday night. Most everyone ordered one of the specials. I had the Walleye. It was the size of my plate and absolutely cooked perfectly. The breading was light and well seasoned and there was not one bone in the giant piece of fish. I couldn’t eat my whole baked potato because I was so full. Our servers were on the ball and very fun. There was no waiting to have your drink refilled. I was impressed that even being a party of 20 and eating off of the menu the food all came out within minutes of each other. I highly recommend!

We stopped by Thunder Bar & Restaurant with a large group on a busy evening for a family member’s birthday celebration. The place was packed, and it’s easy to see why. The service was incredible, even with how busy they were, and the staff did a great job taking care of our entire group.
The menu offers a great selection, and everything we ordered was excellent. Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. It’s definitely a place we would go back to again.

This is a gem hidden in a small town. The food and drinks were great. This is also one of a few places that still has a salad bar. Every Friday and Sat is all you can eat ribs and shrimp. They also do Prime rib.

The location is small town local bar definitely a clean operation the servers were friendly. My buddy wanted to try this place due to the fact he heard good things. The food is alright nothing that is out of this world. The appetizers we order had all the items cheese curds chicken strips and onion rings. They were a little to over done for my liking. The pepperoni pizza I ordered crust was cardboard I have had better frozen pizzas. The pasta my friend order was descent the chicken had good flavor but the noodles were a little over done and super soft. The one thing I can say about this place the prices are very fair. I would not come back but a place to check out do to the location and the bar.

We went to celebrate a birthday. A group of about 20. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The servers were GREAT! Almost everyone liked their meals other than me. I ordered the hand cut 14 oz ribeye steak. It was incredibly tough. I probably should have ordered the prime rib, but live and learn. To be fair, I didn’t complain, so they didn’t have a chance to fix it. I would absolutely go to the Thunder Bar again.

Hidden gem in a small town. Staff was friendly and food was excellent. Place is kid friendly as well, they brought out our son’s food as soon as it was ready. I ordered their whiskey steak medium with cheesy hash. Steak was excellent and cooked to perfection. Son had the mini corn dogs and fries and he loves them. Price was super reasonable. I will be making my way back there as they have a couple other specials I would like to try. The prime rib looked fantastic. Would recommend, I drove about 40 mins to try this place and it was well worth it.

Now if you are looking for All You Can Eat BBQ Ribs or Breaded Shrimp, this might be your place to go on Friday Night. The also have Prime Rib here as well! The place was clean and masks required. I also had homemade apple crisp. Nummy! When ate all my food, i was definately full! The ribs were very good!!

Awesome food in a great small town atmosphere about 15 minutes outside Mankato, MN. Our waitress was fun and helpful. They make their own breading for the walleye sandwich as well as their house made tartar sauce. I had the Eagle Burger…6 oz. Bacon cheeseburger topped with BBQ pulled pork and coleslaw (tator tots on the side)….a deliciously heafty burger that’ll leave you licking your fingers and in need of a few extra napkins. If you are anywhere near Thunder Bar & Restaurant (or not)….it’s definitely worth the trip!
