5 stars across the board! My husband & I were told about this place from a Union County Facebook group and it did NOT disappoint. Not only is the atmosphere inviting, the food was SO good! We just moved here and this was our first pizza place in Monroe and we will definitely be back. Make sure to order the wings and get the amazing flavors they make in house! Thanks Joel & Jerry for the hospitality.

Dropped in today for pizza and had a wonderful experience. The Throwback Pizza team was super friendly and the pizza and wings were terrific! Don’t miss this hidden gem! The pizza crust was crisp and the toppings generous. They have a big screen tv so you can watch the game if you dine in. There are also some classic arcade games to play as your order is being prepared as a fun way to pass the time. It’s a great place in Monroe. Check them out!

WOW!! During our vacation in Monroe, we visited Throwback Pizza and had an amazing time! The kids especially enjoyed playing the arcade games. The food was absolutely delicious and generous in portion sizes, ensuring everyone left satisfied.
Throwback Pizza is a fantastic place to go with children, providing both great entertainment and tasty meals. We were treated exceptionally well by the staff, which made our visit even more memorable. We’re already looking forward to our next trip and plan to bring a small gift as a token of our appreciation for the wonderful hospitality we received.

Had wings which were the best I’ve had, their homemade sauce is super yummy. Stromboli was out of this world. Pizza super fresh and sooo good! 5 out 5 recommend!!! Best in Monroe by far. Coming from Northern Italians!

This place is great! We had the Teriyaki and Buffalo wings. The wings were crispy and probably some of the best I’ve had. The owner is very attentive and makes sure we liked everything . The garlic balls were yummy, the kids liked them. The pizza itself was yummy. My only recommendation for it would be to maybe add a little more sauce. But you can tell this is real pizza from scratch and the seasonings is spot on. The place is located in Nottingham plaza inside a furniture store. Cool retro video games and decor too. We will def be back.

Pizza was really good! Wings were a little over cooked but I will give them another shot. We got the garlic parm. The owner was really friendly. I had tried for over 2 months an finally was able to get them when they were open. Looks very clean inside. Give them a try!!! Very reasonably priced!

We tried Throwback pizza tonight for the first time … and it was AMAZING ! I wish I took pictures of the pizza … but we ate it to fast ! If you like white pizza you will LOVE it here ! Best I have had with so much flavor ! The wings were great ( hot honey yumm) We also had the Hawaiian Pizza (so good) we had the opportunity to try a potential new menu item; fruity pebble fried dough bites (pictured) our kids LOVED IT ! Fun atmosphere great service and amazing food ! We highly recommend Throwback pizza and we will be coming back soon !

Throwback Pizza is my new favorite spot in Stallings, thanks to its amazing food and amazing owner. He is incredibly kind and treats every customer like family, making the experience even better. The pizza is everything you could hope for—perfectly crisp on the outside, moist on the inside, and cooked just right. The salad was fresh, generously sized, and so filling I couldn’t finish it. And the parmesan bites with marinara? Absolutely delicious. If you’re in the area, this place is well worth a visit!

What a hidden gem!! Absolutely delicious pizza and wings. We had the Hawaiian pizza and it was loaded with toppings, hot and fresh out of the oven. Oh so yummy!! The wings…OMG loved them. Loved the crispy skin and tossed in spicy ranch and hot honey. Finger licken’ good. And I have to mention the ranch dressing, house made…delicious!! If you haven’t been, you are missing out!!! Best part all this for only $21!!
