Coffee: Cappuccino was fine. Philosopher’s cup with half sweet was too sweet for us. For context, I usually drink my coffee black or with one teaspoon sugar and my husband drinks his with two sugars.
Food: breakfast burrito was our favorite food item today. I originally didn’t even see it as an option because it was only listed on a tent card above the muffins but then heard other customers ordering it and wanted something savory. The empty wrapper in the middle of the table was a cranberry muffin. Crumbly but otherwise fine, as was the quiche.
They are in an old house with huge wraparound porches, and they’ve turned the bedrooms into sitting room rooms where you can sit and enjoy sunshine and a wonderful cup of coffee
There espresso is the best I’ve tasted in years. What’s wonderful about it in addition to the Taste is that they do the Roasting in Statesboro Georgia.
I like to buy local like to give my money to my neighbors instead of large corporations that don’t care about me anyway.
For comparison, this place is way better than Starbucks! Try it once you won’t go back to those other places…
Practical touches make it especially work‑friendly. The table I chose had a power strip nearby, which meant I could keep both my phone and laptop charged without hunting for outlets. It’s the kind of detail that makes a big difference when you’re treating a cafe as a temporary office.
Of course, the highlight was the coffee itself. I ordered a cortado, and it was prepared exactly as it should be. Served in the proper glass cup, with a balance of strength and smoothness that hit the mark. The flavor was bold and satisfying, just the right boost to carry me through the rest of my morning.
Overall, Three Tree Coffee at The Porch combines the charm of a converted home with the functionality of a modern coffee shop. It’s spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, and the coffee is crafted with care. For anyone in Pooler or passing nearby on the interstate looking for a place to work, relax, or simply enjoy a well‑made drink, this spot is worth seeking out.
Excited to try this place as I’ve had Three Tree Coffee before at a wedding from a truck and it was so good!
Today unfortunately was not that case.
I went it and placed my order just a medium iced latte with some holiday flavors. It took 15 minutes for me to get my drink. They did have four drinks ahead of me two baristas making them but still 15 minutes?!? The baristas seemed very friendly and were holding a great conversation with the customer in front of me which is definitely the reason it took so long. I finally received my latte and the cup wasn’t even full I tasted it, and honestly, it tasted as if the espresso was made with chemicals. It doesn’t seem as if the espresso grinder is calibrated properly, which would cause for the right pull out of the machine. As a manager of a local coffee shop myself the espresso should not taste like chemicals. I didn’t even have enough time go back and ask for a remake with the feeling it would take another 15 minutes. Very upset with this experience don’t think I’ll be back.
As for the atmosphere – it’s lovely. It’s inside an interestingly shaped house with a wrap around porch. The inside is nice and has a good amount of space and seating. The service was good and not rushed. There’s a sign inside about their mission and view about community, giving back, and fighting human trafficking. All around good community kind of feeling.
It was very nice to come across this gem while passing through. Hope it sticks around for a while and is a good gathering place for folks.
