The shop is located in a beautiful location and close to oceanfront… the shop has a cozy vibe, has indoor and outdoor seating… they have very unique flavor combinations and has milk alternatives too… I got the drip coffee with milk foam… the barista recommended it and it’s the bestseller but I personally didn’t enjoy it… I felt a weird after taste.. pastries and food felt very pricey..!!

We really loved it. Like many other places in the Vibe district, the menu is pricey. However, in the case of this establishment, it is worth it in my opinion. They have a unique selection of coffees and drinks they make with those coffees, and the are as unique and balanced as the source of their drinks are. The baristas take particular care that the foam is just the right consistency and the taste components are in balance. All in all, it was the best coffee experience we have had outside of making it ourselves. They also have iced concoctions, snacks, cookies, muffins and sandwiches so you can get just about anything you want to round out the best cup of coffee in the oven. Highly recommended. There is also plenty of parking and many other unique shops in the area, and everything is handicap accessible.

Cozy coffeehouse that’s not just tourist. In a really unique neighborhood, they roast their own coffee and they had some interesting concoctions, both cold and hot.

Before returning home from the trip,
I searched for a cafe on Google to buy
coffee to drink while driving.

There were a lot of 6~7 people at the checkout, but I didn’t wait long. The female employee handled the order skillfully.

We ordered strawberry latte 2, biscuit 1, and immediately changed the options a little to hot strawberry latte 1, ice a lessstrawberry latte 1, biscuit 2, and she handled it perfectly and quickly. The drinks came out quickly.

The drinks and biscuits came out quickly, and I recommend both strawberry latte and biscuits because they are delicious.

The last trip like me. I recommend you to buy coffee and biscuits before going back home.

+ It was also good that there were tables inside and outside.

Service was left to be desired. The lady staff was busy heating up someone’s order, rather stood by the toaster oven and watch it heat up instead of multi tasking to take my order. Then came another customer who just picked up coffee. She took his order ahead of me. Instead of taking my order, she chatted a bit with the customer. After he left, she then was on the phone! Thankfully another staff coming from a break took my order.
I ordered the brain killer (cold drink) which was good although wasn’t served with maraschino cherry per the menu; and hot Brown sugar vanilla latte (which had to be redone to add the brown sugar syrup!) which was good.
Ambiance is okay, hard to do work with music blasting but hey, to each his own!

Adorable little cafe in the heart of Vibe District, VA Beach.
Food items are limited and focused on the biscuit rather than bread or croissant. The biscuits were a popular item there.

Coffee beverages are well prepared.

The place gets crowded though on a weekend morning, with a wait time of arround 15 mins for a coffee.

I went here four times during my vacation about a month ago. Every time I came in the staff were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and approachable. The biscuit had a delicious crunch and layers. The flavour was fantastic. The Kenya pour overs I tasted (3) were consistent, fruity and delicate. The lattes I had gave notes like peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. My one critique with the lattes is that if I came later in the day, they’d taste dry and a bit more over extracted than I’d like. I could be wrong, but cleaning the portafilter baskets more regularly could fix that issue.

If I lived in Virginia beach, I would be a regular

If you find yourself in Virginia Beach and in need of a delightful caffeine fix, look no further! I just moved to the area a few months ago and this is my go to spot. This coffee shop has everything you need to start your day with a smile. For those who love a cold brew, the land lubber is a favorite that never disappoints. If you’re feeling tired and need a little extra boost, the espresso is the perfect pick-me-up! For a more balanced and sweeter taste, I highly recommend the cappuccino…. it truly is the perfect cup. And don’t worry if you don’t like coffee, they got you covered with pastries and other goodies. Also if you prefer vegan options, they have a few to choose from. The pastries are always fresh and delicious, making this shop a good place to indulge in a treat or two. Grab a cup of Joe and take a Sandy stroll on the beach or enjoy the laid back atmosphere at the shop. Either way it’s the perfect place for locals and tourist to get quality coffee and snacks!
