I heard Three Seasons was good from a friend but was pretty disappointed after dining here. The food was just OK but was extremely overpriced. Even if portions are small, I would expect the restaurant to compensate in taste or quality. Unfortunately, this is there Three Seasons fell short.

I won’t complain about the $9 for 6 oysters special — not a bad deal, but, the rolls were definitely overpriced. We shared the traditional spring rolls and crispy rolls which were not outstanding. I’ve definitely had superior or comparable rolls for about half the price and hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese places. We also had the garlic noodles which were pretty bland and the chicken salad which was nothing special.

Service was ok — I think our waitress forgot about us after we ordered and we had to flag down another server to order more food. This place has a beautiful atmosphere and the outdoor seating was lovely but I’m afraid I won’t be back due anytime soon. I’m not willing to pay extra just for a nice atmosphere so hopefully they can step up the quality of their dishes.

Initial impression was loved the outside seating and location as well as ambiance. Service was decent, waitresses had pleasant attire but shorts were quite short. Food was decent as well, too much salt for my liking however. My friend and I ordered the lemongrass chicken, garlic noodles and eggplant to share. As well as two speciality drinks for a $70 bill. Overall not wowed but decent place.

Nice venue. It’s a bar setting for a Vietnamese Fusion cuisine. Fast service. Duck rolls was very good. Garlic noodles can be better. The pho is tasty but not authentic. Overall it is a good place to get a taste of Vietnamese food though not authentic.

I enjoyed Three Seasons very much. I am vegetarian and my family shared 4 dishes- all of which ranged from good to excellent. The crispy veg roll was good(taro in it made it special). The noodles and fried tofu were really good. The noodles had lots of sprouts and the flavor was delicious. The fried tofu was crispy and the coating was very well seasoned. Now comes the amazing veg. curry- I was skeptical but quite honestly blown away by how well this dish was. Firstly they had very interesting vegetables- brussels sprouts, okra, 2 kinds of cauliflower- all of which were cooked just right, good quality veggies and absorbed the curry flavor. Needless to say, I’ll be back. The ambiance was also very pleasant. You get what you pay for!(would reduce half star for the salad that came with crispy rolls which smelled a bit of fish sauce- but this was on the side).

i was stuck in traffic real bad and just wanted some Vietnamese food. so i decided to stop by and check this one out for the first time. We loved the environment and so nice that i could have my dog with me because they had a cozy and nice outside sitting. the food was great. and the price was so affordable. you guys need to check this place out. wish they open for brunch on sunday, oh well they are good restaurant you guys cannot skip.

We went to this restaurant for some drinks one night after dinner at pampas. We were just walking by when we greats some music. The music drew us in and we walked in to the restaurant and ordered a couple drinks. The restaurant has great ambience and live music sometimes. I loved sitting outside the restaurant and enjoying the drinks while also enjoying the live music and dancing. Would definitively love to come back and try their food sometime.

The outdoor space is beautiful and the seating is comfortable and nice. The inside is nice as well… obviously a historic building of some sort.

The food left A LOT to be desired. Portions are small, flavors are bland (especially for vietnamese food), and choices aren’t that great. Food presentation was nice. As others have stated, prices are definitely expensive for the quantity and quality of the food.

We had Vegetarian Spring Rolls with a sauce that was nothing to write home about. The asparagus soup shots that came with the dish was a nice touch. The Chicken Satay was okay, but the peanut sauce totally fell short. Finally, the grapefruit/jicama salad was a disaster. Full of jicama, not much grapefruit, and a total of 4 cashews in the dish. After those disappointing dishes, we gave up.

If you’re looking for a nice place to relax and don’t care much about the food quality, you will enjoy. If you’re looking for good vietnamese food, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Highly recommend Three Seasons, it’s probably the best Vietnamese food around. We go in regularly for the Pho, which is a much higher quality Pho than you get anywhere else. The spring rolls are also excellent, and the cauliflower “shot” is delicious and surprising. The environment is also very nice and the venue is beautiful, both inside and out.

Nice ambiance & service. Ambiance is better than at Tamarine – the other Vietnamese fusion place in Palo Alto – for one reason because tables are not so closely spaced. The food continues to be excellent. There are many vegetarian & vegan items. I have had vegetarian spring rolls with shots of asparagus soup or cauliflower bisque (this is a great item), garlic noodles (made with egg but those who have tried it love it), papaya salad (very nice & not to strong in taste like some other places that serve this), curry veggies (very good, not too spicy, a nice variety of vegetables, eggplant in coconut sauce (the best item), Spinach noodles (good), lemon tofu (good), green beans (good), crispy vegetarian rolls (okay), tofu eggplant satay (okay) & spicy okra (okay) Drinks: the virgin guavati & lemonade/passion fruit iced tea were good. Our friends loved the creme brulee but we liked the chocolate fondant as well as the mango sorbet, vanilla sorbet & coconut ice cream. The fried banana was good. The teas & coffees are also nice. The restaurant recently redid its interior – which continues to be elegant in style.
