Two staff saw us waiting by thr desk. Took a couple minutes for them to come and seat us. There was 20 min. left until breakfast was done. I asked if we could still get breakfast. He was not friendly and just said it was getting close to ending so would need to get the order in. Our waitress brought orange juice for my son when I asked for apple juice. It took about 15 minutes to get it. Then we gpt our meal. I asked for ketchup and syrup. She only brought syrup. My husband then asked for butter and ketchup because he got only one piece of dry toast with his meal. She never brought it so he ate it without. She kept coming out with other food, but still never brought it until we were almost done. She took the wrong food to the same table twice, even after they told her the first time they ordered omelets. It took her 3 tries. The food was good and the view, just not the service.

They do the thing here where they forget to remind the customer, even as they stand there while your wife asks you what the tip should be, that because their family is larger than a certain allowed amount they automatically add a 22% tip. So we definitely didn’t mean to tip 42% on a $70 dinner bill. Thanks we won’t be back

Nice place and good service. Food, however, was not. Too expensive for what you get. I asked for A1 steak sauce but got something other than A1 that someone poured into an A1 bottle. Beef tips were not worth the price charged. Likely will not return.

I would avoid dining here if at all possible. We are at the Radisson every year for Oktoberfest. Where we find the staff at Radisson in general to be polite and helpful, the staff at the Three Rivers are anything but. There is a host stand at the entrance to the restaurant and it is generally unmanned, so waiting 10 or more minutes for someone to come out of the kitchen area to help us is not uncommon. After waiting the requisite 10 to 15 minutes to get any service this morning, we asked for.a table for.7 and were told verbatim “I won’t do that.”. We told him we could split up the group and again were refused. He said that there were two groups of.9 and 13 who had made reservations and that he would not be seating anyone else. We could see the tables set up for the two groups. We could also see 5 or 6 additional.empty tables. Because of the size of our group, we have tried to reserve space here.in the past and were told they did.not accept reservations. That policy may have changed, but we were extremely disappointed that the person speaking to us made no attempt whatsoever to accommodate us. He did not.offer to put us on a list, did not provide any insight into how to get a table, just said we will not be seating anyone else. He then walked off without bothering to acknowledge any of the two or.three groups waiting behind us. This has been a recurring theme with this restaurant over the years and I am certain that were they not in the lobby of a busy hotel they would have gone out of business years ago. Great hotel, disappointing restaurant.

Jack was our server, we came in for a late lunch. He was fabulous. This was a great stop. We had a delicious light lunch of the dock lunch and yummy smoked deviled eggs. Food was great and service was better.

My wife thought she wanted steak so she ordered a ribeye, medium well. It came medium and was grisly and tougher than leather
So we asked them to switch it for beef tips. No change–they too were very chewy. Not good beef at all! The servers tried to make it right, but the beef was terrible.

A disappointing meal, there is no other way to say it. The pasta dish was bland, in fact all of the food was fairly bland. Not at all representative of a hotel that charges over $300 a night.

Food was okay. Got the blackened white fish. Great BIG bun small little piece of fish. Just pulled it apart and ate it with half the bun. It was fine that way. My husband had the Cuban which he liked. We had the coleslaw neither of us cared for that at all. Setting was beautiful, staff was friendly.

The food is delicious. The service is amazing. The atmosphere is awesome, especially since the Christmas light decorations are up along the river. Happy Hour on Wednesday is the best- our bottle of cab sav was half price at only $12 and since we’re hotel guests we each had a glass with dinner and took the bottle up to our room after dinner.

From front counter host to the level of service by all staff, it is probably the best hotel restaurant experience we’ve had anywhere in the world.

If you’re staying at the Radisson, you owe it to yourself to dine here. If you’re a La Crosse local, you should pop in for a happy hour and have a great experience.

Well be back in a couple of weeks.
